Situated within a five minute walk from Trevi Fountain and Pantheon.45 minutes from Vatican city. Great central location however, it is in a very busy, noisy street, With bars/pubs beneath front rooms. Walls are paper thin! Not good for light sleepers. Rooms are basic but clean, communal hallways are tired with thread bairn, worn carpets. Most staff are friendly and accommodating, apart from in breakfast room where the one member of staff we encountered was miserable and unhelpful. Not that you would have much time for TV but all channels are in Italian. Overall a pleasant inexpensive short stay.

We came to Rome in the middle of November and there was no heating. In any room at all. We were freezing all night and woke up with back pain, breakfast was awful (we ate outside). Good things: location (!), free wifi, running hot water, and the staff is willing to give you more blankets and pillows if you ask them. It's a good deal for people who don't really care about the hotel and are mainly interested in seeing the city.

We found the hotel through their website, in which the rooms appear to be very nice. But we had a shock when we entered our room (No 212). We stayed for 5 nights. The carpet was filthy as well as the walls, with mould in the ceiling. The bathroom was from the 70's, the bathtub was chipped and with scale from the years gone by. The noise when flashing the toillet was tremendous and when the next room was flushing the toillet we could hear it. We even woke up in the middle of the night due to that noise from the other room. Our sheets were never changed during our stay. On the possitive side the bed was good and the location was central.
