Our preference when touring Europe is to stay close to the main railway station as all our travel is by train, hence Scott House was selected after seeing reviews on Trip Advisor.
However, after travelling for over 24 hours with no sleep you would hope...More
The Scott House Hotel reception is actually on the fourth floor of the building, and to get into the building you need to be buzzed in. To access the lift you first have to climb a short flight of stairs (which can be tricky with...More
Top marks for position - 100 meters from the Termini Railway station with rail connection to the airport. The entrance is a bit off putting as it is shared with about 5-6other hotels in the building and looks a bit rundown.. The Scott House is...More

The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up

I dom't think they offer a complimentary taxi service. We took a shuttle taxi (duration 35 minutes outside the rush hour) from the airport to the main railway station (Termini). There is also a train connection to the Termini; Leonardo Express that operates every 30 minutes. The Scott House hotel is very close to the Termini, only a couple of blocks away.
