What a fabulous hotel, a jewel in the crown of this busy city. We arrived early in the morning as transferring off a cruise ship and the receptionist upgraded us as it was my 60th birthday that day and checked us in early. Nothing is too much trouble for the fantastic team of staff that work here. Byron in particular on the door was very helpful and always cheerful. We had dinner for my birthday in the Ambrosia Restaurant and the food, wine and service was excellent. The next evening we had cocktails on the roof terrace and the waitress recognised us and brought us an appetiser. We had great fun with the cocktail waiters working our way through the selection. What a spectacular finish to our special trip. Great location, fabulous staff and spacious, immaculate rooms. The breakfast buffet is another level with daily homemade cakes.

Hotel's Favorite
Just left this gorgeous hotel after a weeks stay! Location was perfect with most attractions nearby! Walking distance! The only one that’s a little far in the heat was The Vatican but the hop on hop off bus fixed that issue. First impressions of the hotel are of course when you are greeted, I knew from the warm welcome from concierge that this was going to be a good stay!! Very welcoming and extremely friendly. I have to say, this hotel is without a doubt, one of the best we have stayed in and cannot believe it isn’t a 5* The hotel itself is immaculate, the rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are a fabulous size and very modern. We had a room (409) away from the main road which was fabulous as it was so so quiet! The beds were super comfy with ample of space! The mini bar in the room was FREE and replenished daily!! What a fabulous gesture! The best thing about this hotel though…the staff! I mean, Seriously….the staff were all absolutely amazing! Nothing was too much effort and it was all delivered with a genuine smile. Ivan and his partner in crime (the beautiful young lady that helped me purchase hop on hop off tickets - sorry didn’t catch her name) were just truly brilliant! Breakfast was plentiful and a huge range to choose from! You can order other items from the waiter/waitresses too. Again, the staff were always smiling and looked happy to be there! So so kind. Our most favourite person of all…Daniella, the housekeeper! Wow! If only the world was full of Daniella’s! She was just so kind and gentle (my 9yr old absolutely loved her). She really couldn’t speak much English but we managed to communicate with some laughs. She was super efficient, extremely conscientious and paid a lot of attention to detail. Rooms was left fresh and immaculate! Again, nothing was ever too much effort for her and she would go over and above to make sure you had all you needed. We had a complimentary drinks voucher given to us on arrival which we used on the roof top bar which was lovely. We didn’t dine here for an evening meal so can’t comment but the food looked very good! Would defo use this hotel again and again!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (it’s our honeymoon) and it was beautiful with a private balcony and private jacuzzi!! Aside from the suite: The service at this hotel is impeccable— if you are a tourist, this is the place to be. Everyone speaks English, breakfast is included, and they can book tours for you in a minute’s notice. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and the restaurant is 5-star. The food was actually better than the Michelin restaurant we dined at. There is also a beautiful spa that guests can reserve in the basement… Wow!!! Definitely worth it, so relaxing. Anyway, this place is amazing, highly recommend.

We visited the Artemide for our 10 Year wedding anniversary and they couldn’t have made it more special! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which is beautiful with stunning views. Service was outstanding throughout and the rooftop meal included in our stay was amazing! Maurizio made some incredible cocktails and nothing was too much trouble! We each got a complimentary visit to the spa which was a lovely touch after long day out! Thank you so much

I chose Artemide based on reviews saying it was a sanctuary from busy (and hot!) Rome; and it was the perfect choice. The location is perfect, walking distance to most of the places you will want to see and lots of stores and restaurants on its doorstep (including Ambrosia, their rooftop restaurant which is fab). The room was dark, quiet, cool and very comfortable. We were in a deluxe room and it had more than enough room, luggage and all. The free mini bar was a savior coming back after tiring adventures - especially the bottles of water (frizzante/sparkling or naturale); I wish all hotels would do this. Front desk was always helpful, organizing taxis to train station etc (it is walking distance but with bags and heat was too hard). Breakfast was great, with baked sweet goodies brought around to tables to supplement the already generous buffet selection. Coffee excellent of course too.

Can’t say enough about this hotel! Best hotel we ever stayed at by far! The rooms are well appointed and spotless. Beds are very comfortable! The breakfast buffet has everything you can imagine for breakfast and more. Biggest buffet I have ever seen! What makes this hotel stand out beyond all others is the hotel front desk staff and the restaurant staff! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great one! They were so caring and helpful with making dinner reservations to helping us out when we missed our bus during a day trip. They found a driver to go 1.5hrs to pic us up late at night! Also, great location. There is no reason to stay anywhere else then the Hotel Artemide!

We just spent 6 nights here. It is very close to a multitude of bars, cafes, and restaurants. It is a short walk to the Trevi Fountain and about an hour if you walk to the Vatican. Walking in Rome is fun as shops and cafes of all sorts seem to be everywhere. We had a larger room which was very nice. My wife did not like the water pressure from the rain shower head. The free mini bar is a nice perk. I liked the free breakfast. The selection is good and the service is very friendly. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the restaurant upstairs is small snd without advance reservations you will be looking for somewhere else to eat. The food is very good. The rooftop bar has a good menu and great bartenders. It has a very good view. Get there by 4:30 for a seat.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We are happy to have met your expectations in so many ways. Thank you also for reporting the shower pressure: our maintenance team intervened immediately to solve the problem. Thank you again! You are absolutely right, like all renowned restaurants, without a reservation at Ambrosia, you might risk not finding a table. As they say, "good things come in small packages". Our intimate spaces provide pleasant evenings in the name of gastronomic delights and a convivial atmosphere. Please come back to visit, we want to pamper you again with great food and divine wine. Arrivederci! Federico Pacini Hotel Manager

Beautiful, clean hotel with amazing staff that goes out of their way to accommodate your every need!! Gave us great restaurant suggestions and made the reservations for us, even last minute! We missed our bus back from a day trip out of town, No others means of transportation was available. The staff went out of their way to find a private driver to get us! Wonderful breakfast buffet. Dear SandyB, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the TripAdvisor community. We are happy to know that you have enjoyed our location for your Roman excursions. At the same time, we are baffled by the impression you received from our staff as it is so far removed from the reputation they enjoy, generally amicable and easygoing. Perhaps a little misunderstanding that we will certainly investigate, as we have always done, to maintain the high level of professionalism that has always characterized us. Please come back to visit us, we would love the opportunity to make it up to you. Arrivederci! Federico Pacini Hotel Manager
