we had a nice stay in the hotel, maybe a little refreshing of decoration, a better cleaning of the bathroom( lot of calcareous ), one our room was really small and only small window, and the other one little noisy on the road ( first floor)

We booked our trip through a travel agent but would definitely return to this hotel. Smartly decorated, centrally located and with a helpful staff, it was a real find. Wide choice of breakfast food, too.

What a gem of a hotel. Unbelievable location. A few roads away from coleseum and situated between two metro stations for further travels. Hotel run by really friendly staff that gave us great advice when our luggage did not arrive and tips for places to eat and how to get around. Continental breakfast which has a fabulous selection of breads,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. It's a 3 star hotel but clean and comfortable. My son had a room at the back that overlooked a cute courtyard. Ours was at the front and was quite noisy until the neighbouring bars and bistros closed (not too late though). Rooms are air conditioned and have en suite facilities. Breakfast is OK.... More

Finding the right hotel in Rome is always a problem. The sights are so spread out that if you choose to be near one major sight, it can be difficult to get to many of the others. So consider the Hotel Tirreno, that little gem near St. Mary Major. An easy walk to both the Metro and the principal bus... More

I stayed here with my 3 friends last week for a trip to Rome. Around 15 mins from the airport. When we arrived, we were a little early but the receptionist gladly checked 1 of our rooms in for us to put our luggage in. The rooms are basic and the bathroom was slightly dirty with our shower being broken... More

Absolutely accommodating. Not too fancy and not shabby at all. Service was outstanding. Location is strategic for a good number of major attractions and plenty of minor ones. Italian breakfast was a nice bonus as well. Amazing Carbonara right across the street.

Great location, convenient to metro, train and colosseum - all walking distances even in the summer months. Front desk/reception was friendly and very helpful. It's usually staffed with a single person so if you get stuck behind a large group you will likely need to wait a while. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated (not old), but clean and... More
