The location was good. The staff were friendly. The room was fairly small, but was clean, functional, and had all the necessities. Good value for money. Would recommend to those who don't want to spend too much money, but also want something better than an AirBNB or a hostel.

Tirreno is a small hotel in a quiet side street but close to a very lively area with restaurants, shops and sights close by. The Colleseum and Forum are about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel and there are two metro stops nearby. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small bar/lounge area and a... This is the second time staying here in the past 2 years. The hotel is in a great location. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family. This time we stayed in a room with a balcony and that was a nice touch.

We chose Hotel Tirreno because of it's proximity to the station and central Rome and it's good reviews. It was a great choice in a quiet location at a time when Rome was heaving with tourists - just ten minutes walk from station and Metro and close to many of the sights. We were in room 303 and delighted to... More

The meals and the friendly attitude of staff, the bed rooms could not be faulted. As the service and the attitude of the staff can sometimes make or ruin a holiday. So I would quite easily if I came back to Rome your hotel would be the first on my list of where to stay.

Location is best thing about this hotel. 10min walk from Colosseum and Roman Forum is the biggest advantage. Hotel is a typical three star with clean but small rooms. Staff is friendly but not a great help as they struggle with English and technology. Hotel has free WiFi but that works only in lobby. They seem to have a WiFi... More

Spent 5 nights here and had a brilliant time. As a single traveller I had a tiny room, but it was clean and comfortable. It is about 10 minures to the Colusseum and 5 minutes to both metro lines, Breakfast was uninspired and the same everyday, which was disappointing. The staff were very good and the map they give you... More

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
