What a nice place to stay. The room was well appointed. The beds comfortable and lovely towels. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Arrived quite early. Check in was not until 3 but they had the rooms ready by noon. Loved that it was close to Barbarini Square.

The first time in a hotel in Europe did not disappoint. It was everything I imagined a classic old Italian hotel to be. The first look at the room was of a large room with floor to ceiling windows. We could open the windows and step out to a private balcony with a small wrought iron table and chairs. We... More

When visiting Rome, we wanted a hotel that was located in the heart of the action and this hotel fit the bill. Located a short walk from Piazza Barberini and hundreds of shops and restaurants, this hotel provided a great jumping off point for our walking tour of the city. In fact, you can walk to all the major attractions... More

The hotel is located at a great location to many beautiful sites in Rome. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Rooms are small but clean and you have everything you need. Avoid room facing alleyway since it is loud late in the evening and early morning. If possible get room facing Main Street so you can get a small balcony.

This 100 year old hotel is quaint and charming. The room that I stayed in had a private patio where I could enjoy breakfast in the morning before a day of exploring Rome. Walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The metro station is at the end of the street and a quick ride to the Colosseum.

Our first time in Rome and this hotel made it special. Great location for all the sights and nightlife. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the head of the breakfast room, always friendly and smiling. Also the two younger waiters who worked the bar and outside restaurant, sorry i didn't get their names for special mention.... More

We had the WORSE experience in this hotel ! We booked 3 rooms for one night only , and our room 105 the A.C was not functioning ! I informed the reception about it the moment I checked in the room, then they send someone to check for the AC and he says it just needs time ! After 3... More

Me and my best friend travelled to Rome for the first time in August and stayed at this hotel. When we arrived, it looked the part from the outside, and the service when we entered was faultless. We were put in a small double room with a baking and a nice view along the street. When I say small, I... More

My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. Great food and sites in walking distance. We would gladly stay there again. There is an ATM right across the street. The service was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Good hotel located in the very heart of Rome, near the best places to visit, stayed there for seven nights, the room was quiet, but dark had to turn on the light on day time, very clean just a little smell in the room when you come from outside... Rich breakfast but have to pay an extra 9 Euro. However... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
