The hotel was a great place to stay. Perfectly placed to appreciate the city on foot as well as close to major attractions. Amazing views, especially from roof terrace where we enjoyed breakfast and drinks in the American Bar. All of the hotel staff were amazing. Extremely helpful and friendly from the staff on the front desk to the ladies cleaning the rooms. Could not recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely be returning in the future.

We stayed here for 1 night at the end our trip to Italy. I really wish we had more time and will definitely return. The room was very beautifully decorated and we had a very nice view of a small piece of the Forum. After a ferry and train from Positano in late August, most important was very good air conditioning and a nice shower. We picked the hotel for a couple reasons. Nice views when we didn't have time for real sightseeing, a roof top lounge for cocktails at sunset, and a nice dinner onsite. I travel a lot and what can distinguish a hotel for me is not just a seamless stay, but how they handle problems. We had picked the hotel largely because we wanted to watch the sunset from the rooftop lounge before our dinner at the hotel. We like the restaurant a lot, but honestly it is Rome so there are a lot of great restaurants with views. So it was the ability to do all of this at 1 place on our last night. Well, turned out that there was a birthday party with a bunch of 18 or so year olds scheduled. So when my husband went up to get our seats, they said there would be no room closer to sunset. I was very disappointing, because it wasn't looking like my vision of our last night was panning out. The gentleman at the front desk called up and made it happen. We sat in a little odd area with no view, but the view was a few steps away. They made it happen for us and we were extremely appreciative. The cocktails and service were fantastic. We didn't have breakfast as we left for the airport around 6am. We very much enjoyed our dinner, which I reviewed separately.

I could not say better things about this hotel!! We stayed here for our one year anniversary and it did not disappoint! I booked a hotel room with a view and when we arrived they said they upgraded us! The room was absolutely perfect. Had great views of the forum and surround areas. The staff was super helpful with any questions we had or help we needed. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see!

The check in process was pleasant and our room was actually ready and it was on,y 9:30 am. They let us into our room which was a decent size (we opted for the Superior room) for European standards with traditional decor and and a bit dated but it works for this kind of hotel. Excellent old style hotel located right across the street from the Forum. So many important attractions nearby with loads of wonderful restaurants and bars nearby. The Forum has a lovely classy high end restaurant on the top floor with fabulous views and delicious food. There is also a bar in the hotel and a few stops up from the Garden restaurant that is a fantastic place to get some tapas and a few drinks. Views are Fabulous. Two very small old style elevators are helpful if you’re on the upper floors. A negative for us was that the lobby was a bit shabby looking in the lobby and smelled smoky. The best part of this hotel is the location. You can’t beat it. They will also arrange a private driver from the airport which was 55 Euros for two people; they will accept American money and credit cards with a 10% fee. It’s about 35 minutes from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
