We just spent 4 nights here and got an excellent rate (E104/night) by booking early. This hotel is central to all the must-see attractions in Rome. The Spanish Steps are 50m away, the Trevi Fountain is a 10 minute walk and both the Vatican and Colosseum are 30 minutes on foot. Who needs transit??? The rooms are clean, well-decorated and...

Stayed three nights in this nice hotel in the Spagna district of Rome. Room was very comfortable. we had easy access to several tourist destinations. Please note: we did not stay in the "main" hotel; we stayed in the "external" section around the corner that opens directly to the street. Our rate was a bit lower because of this. The...

We stay here for only 1 night for our post-cruise from the Med. Excellent location and services, not the mention the price. We got a kind of suite for our stay with the sofa bed in a separate room. Located just off a corner from the Spanish step, no noise at all. Lobby and hotel itself is separated by about...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
