We LOVED this place! The rooms were nice and clean and big. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the staff as well! We wanted to highlight one person specifically who made our stay so comfortable and that was Patrick! He met all our needs and have us the best recommendations and we could not thank him enough! Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and so professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!! They also did a cute birthday surprise at my husbands request and we will be staying again with them!

Beautiful looking hotel. Modern rooms and wonderful sized bathroom. Nice to look at. First night, no hot water in the shower, called front desk the rude male said he would check. Did have hot water the 2nd night. Breakfast buffet is absolutely horrible. Everything that should be hot or at least warm is dried out and cold. The buffet is also half empty most of the time. The 7th floor dining room has a marvellously amazing view, the food however is the worst possible. The carbonara smelt like a freshly opened can of cat food and the taste wasn’t much different. Which is fine because the meatballs were possibly made of canned dog food and I’ve never had mashed potatoes that literally pour off the serving spoon like milk. The 2nd night we had pesto pasta, that’s what we ordered but I’m not quite sure what the green salty slop was, again not worth eating. The only thing worse is the inefficient broken elevators. Personally, this is almost the worst hotel experience and I couldn’t wait to check out and move onward on our vacation.

Norwegian cruise line booked this hotel for us. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights prior to our cruise. This was a nice hotel. It was clean and the staff were very nice. Location was not great, but for the price it was as expected. We wanted to see the Vatican and Colosseum. You’ll need to use a taxi or bus #982 to get into the city center. The Euclide metro stop is closed, but there is a different Euclide train that runs sporadically around the corner from the hotel. We opted for taxi. The hotel can call a taxi for you. When returning to the hotel, use the ItTaxi app. The cost of taxi with tip was just under 20 euro each way. There are very minimal options for restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was included with our stay. It had a large selection and everyone in our party found something they liked. The biggest negative was our bath/shower. Our room was small (as expected), but the design of the bath/shower was mind boggling. The first time using the shower, water was everywhere. On the bathroom floor, under the bathroom door and flowing towards the bed. There’s a rim around the tub that water from the shower will pool in. That water goes along the tube, down to the bathroom floor and flows everywhere. First shower, we ended up using several towels to sop up all the water. Others who had just a shower had no issues. In order to avoid flooding, we had to make sure the shower water was at a much lower pressure and place a couple of towels along the space between the tub and wall. The height of the wall as you enter the tub/shower was unusually high. Those with mobility issues wouldn’t be able to use it. Short people like myself, should use caution getting in or out of the tub. I’ve attached pictures. Depending on what you want to see, this is a decent hotel to stay in, just make sure you ask for a shower only room. Again, the staff was very nice and the room was clean.

We enjoyed the hotel. We could walk for 30 minutes and be close to all main sights and still stay in a quiet neighborhood. We parked our car across the street and saw Rome by walking around. The breakfast was really nice and the staff all over the hotel were all so friendly and welcoming. We felt at home here. My only wish was that they could improve on removing various light sources (tv, air conditioning and light from the hallway) and noise in the room from ventilation etc. but it is an older building.

My family My family and I were in the hotel for more than 2 weeks. I really liked our stay there. The rooms are cozy, bright, with a good maintenance. Breakfasts are delicious and there is a good variety of choice. The rooms are well cleaned; the staff is very friendly and competent. I especially liked Senor Patrick at the reception: he is professional, polite and charming, also he speaks very good English. He always responded very quickly and positively to all our requests. We are very grateful to Sr. Patrick and his colleagues. We will recommend this hotel to our friends. and I were in the hotel for more than 2 weeks. I really liked our stay there. Highly recommend the Radissonblu GHR Rome - comfort, cleanliness, staff and location were all excellent for us. For anyone concerned that it is not nearer the centre the hotel provides a free courtesy bus which drops off near the Spanish Steps. WE will be recommending it to friends.

We travelled as a family of 5, spending 4 nights at the hotel. My parents and brother were located in the newer side of the hotel, we were in the older wing. Our room was much more traditional than their updated room. Room We booked through a third party, paying around £600 for a premium room. The room was really spacious, it had a sofa bed and desk space separate from the bedroom but open plan. We found it very comfortable as we’d been travelling Italy for 3 weeks and had lots of luggage. There was a good sized wardrobe, bathrooms, iron and ironing board and a safe. The room was nicely decorated but was showing a little wear and tear (marks on walls). The bed was extremely comfortable. AC is centrally operated and we needed to call reception to turn this on. There was a mini bar and nespresso style coffee maker in the room. Radisson members get free water so worth signing up. Good selection of beer and spirits in the mini bar and the fridge is nice and cold - which isn’t always the case on hotels. We were not given towels one day or any shower gel but a quick call to reception and this was swiftly sorted. Bathroom We had a large bathroom with a shower over the bath. Good lighting. Excellent hairdryer provided. Premium room advertised ‘elevated ‘ toiletries but we didn’t see any difference from the standard rooms. Gym The gym was disappointing. It’s in the basement and I found it impossible to get any wifi or phone signal which limited workouts and music. It’s also painted dark red with flashing lights so it did feel pretty intense in there. That said it did have a good selection of cardio and weights. Rooftop The roof bar is lovely. Expect to pay €10 a spritz. The service is excellent- so professional and friendly. We spent a few evenings here. Location The hotel is located in a lovely, safe area. The local restaurant are fine but you get the impression they much prefer the local clientele to tourists. Villa Borghese is walking distance. The hotel do have a shuttle to the Spanish steps on the hour until 5pm. This is bookable and complimentary. Highly recommend. Taxis are around €10 to all the major sights and the hotel will happily book these for you. Landmark views mean a view of the local church - there are no views over Rome - so be mindful when booking this. All taxis were familiar with the hotel so we found it easy getting back from Ancient Rome. The local train station is Euclide which goes to Firmino every 10 mins. Airport transfer The hotel arrange airport transfers for €65. Sadly they stated we could pay by card to the driver, but he did not allow this and we were forced to take money out at the airport. This felt really frustrating as we were already paying €15 more for using a private transfer. I recommend using the local white taxis who charge €50 to FCO. Would we stay here again - yes. In August it was good value. If you want to walk into the centre I would recommend a hotel located further into Rome as evenings are very quiet around the hotel.

Family trip with 8 members turned into a less than fun experience as we tried to leave for the port to board our cruise ship and the two vehicles, we reserved to take us there and that were confirmed by the hotel twice, did not show. Front desk personnel just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. Power went out for 3 hours one afternoon and evening and no air or elevator service during the hottest day of the year in Rome. The hotel is nice and the restaurants were great. Just a very unconcerned and not at all helpful front desk staff. We will not go back. Had we not lucked out in solving the car issue ourselves we could have missed our ship and no one would have cared.
