This is not a 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars... this place is so old ,even the basic things for a basic hotel are not updated... it smalls like a hospital when you get in,and nothing is work like a normal hotel, stating from the reception clarks, going to the elevator ,going to the "junior suite" that locating just above the hotel... I am writing this review at 1:55am due to the lack of A/C in the rooms keeping me awake. From the moment I arrived, employees did not seem friendly or happy to see me. The elevators were so tiny my two friends and I could barely fit inside while carrying our bags. The rooms were large but lacked a deadbolt,... More

Pleasant hotel in the Parioli district. Romms not very big but elegant and clean. Friendly and professional staff in the lobby Breakfast disappointing for choice. Large common space with motion-class environment for guests to get someone.

This hotel looks and sounds good on website and Internet but it really isn't very good at all! The staff are not very helpful, it was hard to find someone at the front desk, when we did they were unhelpful, we asked for a recommendation for lunch, the guy just said take the next left? Also needs help getting an... More

We just came back today from Grand Hotel Ritz. We were there for 3 night. I never write straightaway a comment here. Unfortunately I have to share our experience. We came for a 'family' trip after really sad time for us...my dad passed away few weeks ago. We chose this hotel because we liked the fact that is close to... More

Really nice hotel with staff always willing to go that extra mile to make your stay special. Stayed in a juniour sweet with very nice bathroom. Don't have to wander more than 5 minutes to come across lots of quality restaurants, Italian, Japanese and nice fish place. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Big thanks to the manager... A lovely hotel very well presented. However me and my friend went to celebrate our birthday so fancied a spa treatment which we thought we would do one evening as the leaflet we received stated the opening hours 12-9. This was not the case and therefore we did not sample the spa and we're very disappointed. On the last evening... More

We were visiting Rome for the weekend and we did not want to overpay for a Hotel right next to tourist attractions so we decided to to stay a little further out. The Grand Hotel Ritz is perfect if this is your strategy because it represents good value as the rooms are spacious and in good condition, we were a... More

Stayed for 5 nights in their superior room overlooking the street on the 5th floor, the room itself is nice, cozy with a nice bathroom. The view of the church opposite was nice but the traffic noise could be heard easily from the room so light sleepers be aware. The housekeeping I must say is Top standard.l and everyday our... More

A friend and I stayed for 3 nights in May, the staff were really helpful, polite and courteous at all times. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was really good with lots of choice. The location of the hotel was great with good public transport links (urban railway and buses). We would both stay again... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
