Threw our coins in the Trevi so we have to come back :) There were a couple of small things that the hotel could do to enhance our next stay…a mirror in the bedroom would help so we don’t have to crowd the only one in the bathroom and softer lighting in the bar in the evening (Jan Luca sorted it for us) would make it feel more cosy... The music was a bit interesting sometimes… Other than that, perfect :)...

Initially we had a different room but the shower tray didn’t drain well and they moved us to another room... The room we had was on the third floor overlooking the side street... There is good lighting and mirrors in the bathroom, but a mirror over the dressing table in the bedroom would be helpful... If they are full they sometimes offer to bring breakfast to your room... They brought bags of ice, room service tea etc...

We never got our fruit and we did tell the front desk about it... We are Catholics and there was a church 2 blocks away where we could attend mass right away on the Sunday we got there...

We started each day with a delicious and plentiful breakfast in the hotel. The entire staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful... The room, although on the small side, was very clean and well appointed... It included a large walk in closet to accommodate all of our traveling needs... The hotel was centrally located in the heart of Rome where we could walk to all of the main attractions... I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning a visit to Rome...

Barocco hotel is a small boutique hotel on a quiet street in central Rome... Breakfast menu has a wide selection and the staff is very accommodating to meet specific needs... Due to its location, the hotel is within walking distance to many attractions and there are many nearby restaurants...

...Amazing hotel with the best staff in Rome! The minute you walk through the doors you feel at home... They welcome you with such warmth and help get you settled... The rooms are gorgeous, implacable and I love the showers!... The morning breakfast is perfect…whether you like just a delicious cup of Italian coffee and a bit of something sweet or a full on breakfast… they don’t disappoint... Everyone you encounter is beyond wonderful and accommodating...

...Next to the metro station “Barberini”, something that makes the transportation process within the city very easy. Friendly staff, clean room, nice breakfast, beautiful building, thick mattresses, soundproof rooms... There is one key in the “traditional” form that has to be returned to the reception every time you leave your room (not the “smart card key” situation here), the breakfast area is divided in 3 small rooms, so you have to book your time slot in the reception the night before... The breakfast was served on the table (not buffet type), the choices were tasty but unfortunately limited and repetitive... I have stayed in 2 and 3 star hotels that during birthdays and anniversaries give you at least a tiny piece of chocolate or write a small card with wishes... In general this hotel is a very good choice if you have a big budget and limited days to see Rome...

...We staid 5 days for christmas and choose the Barocco Hotel for the warm and authentic atmosphere we felt... Thank you Fabio and Virgilio for your warm welcome, thank you Juan Luca for your great cocktails and « magic receipe » for our daughter... Rooms are great (we had a deluxe and two classics rooms), breakfast is top with fresh products and incredible cappuccino, location is perfect to reach all places (very close to Piazza de Spagna)...

Hotel is right by Plaza Barberini and by a Metro Station... Room was beautiful and ok in size by European standards... Bathroom was large especially the tub/shower area... Staff was super friendly and kind... You did have to make reservations as it is a la carte and they want to make sure you are well taken care of... Their breads of course were also delicious... The main desk recommended a couple of restaurants nearby... Our only complaint was that we signed up for loyalty program which would give you fresh fruit upon arrival, 50 percent off on your transfer from airport and 20 percent off on bar tab... We never got our fruit and we did tell the front desk about it... They made up the 50 percent off airport transfer by providing us 2 complimentary taxis to Termini station and they did not give us the 20 percent off on bar tab... We are Catholics and there was a church 2 blocks away where we could attend mass right away on the Sunday we got there...

...The Hotel Barocco was part of the reason for the great memories. The staff were amazing and always willing to assist with booking reservations and providing helpful tips to navigate Rome... My very picky adult son claimed the bed was the best he had ever slept on outside of his own... Additionally, having morning breakfast provided was an added plus... We all loved having fresh lattes and cappuccinos each morning with breakfast... On several occasions, we had early morning excursions booked, and the staff graciously provided a bagged breakfast for us to take with us... The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to all attractions as well as the metro station so we were able to walk just about everywhere... I would definitely recommend this small boutique hotel to anyone planning on visiting Rome...

...Beautiful room (stayed in the Light and Sound suite, which was spacious, but quiet). Staff was very helpful in arranging taxis, giving us guidance to navigate and accommodating requests... Location is terrific-a few minutes from Spanish Steps, Metro around the corner and easy to walk to the Centro Storico... Lovely small hotel and would definitely stay again...

Friends recommended Hotel Barocco to us, and we couldn't be more thankful. Hotel is located close to everything... Modern clean Classic decor, great food and ambiance... Staff was extremely helpful contacting transportation, and didn't nickel & dime (or Euro) us to death for incidentals...

...We stayed in Hotel Barocco for a recent holiday trip , the staff were extremely friendly & helpful , the room was very nice , clean & suited all our wishes . The hotel is ideally located , 2 minutes to a central metro stop giving easy access to Vatican & St Peters , & was a short walk to Trevi fountain , Spainish steps & only 25 minutes nice walk to the Colosseum , we would highly recomend as a boutique hotel ... There was also very nice restaurants & bars just around the hotel , 2-5 minute walk .. it was 30 mins taxi from the airport ...

...It’s a very comfortable and centrally located boutique hotel. We had a lovely room with a bath and shower... They really do go above and beyond here as they moved all our belongings for us and paid for a taxi so we didn’t miss our timed visit to the Galleria Borghese!... The room we had was on the third floor overlooking the side street... Beds are comfy with plentiful towels in the bathroom... There is good lighting and mirrors in the bathroom, but a mirror over the dressing table in the bedroom would be helpful... There is a nice little bar area where you can order drinks and sit in comfort after sightseeing... If they are full they sometimes offer to bring breakfast to your room... Some days we just didn’t bother and went out to a local bar for coffee and pastries... The hotel booked some restaurants in advance for us and they will call a taxi for you... The Piazza Barberini is quite busy, but if you’re staying for a week it’s very handy as it has a little grocery shop, restaurants, cafes, metro, buses and taxis on your doorstep... They brought bags of ice, room service tea etc... I would return to this hotel without hesitation...
