Location is excellent, although the entrance is on the side street . Throughout our 3 nights stay , the services provided by the reception cum concierge ( especially Daniel) was outstanding , from bookings and recommending great restaurants , booking our Covid PCR test and even providing What’sApp services with prompt reply to our all requests. Breakfast selection were superb with wonderful services. The room was bright and clean with very comfortable bed ! Highly recommended !

We have just returned home after a week at the Hotel Barocco. It’s a very comfortable and centrally located boutique hotel. We had a lovely room with a bath and shower. Initially we had a different room but the shower tray didn’t drain well and they moved us to another room. They really do go above and beyond here as they moved all our belongings for us and paid for a taxi so we didn’t miss our timed visit to the Galleria Borghese! When we got back they had moved all our belongings for us. The room we had was on the third floor overlooking the side street. I think this is better than overlooking the piazza Bernini as it’s quieter. Beds are comfy with plentiful towels in the bathroom. There is good lighting and mirrors in the bathroom, but a mirror over the dressing table in the bedroom would be helpful. There is a nice little bar area where you can order drinks and sit in comfort after sightseeing. The breakfast is adequate. No buffet since Covid and you need to book in advance. If they are full they sometimes offer to bring breakfast to your room. Some days we just didn’t bother and went out to a local bar for coffee and pastries. The hotel booked some restaurants in advance for us and they will call a taxi for you. The location of this hotel is fabulous. Near to many sites of interest. The Piazza Barberini is quite busy, but if you’re staying for a week it’s very handy as it has a little grocery shop, restaurants, cafes, metro, buses and taxis on your doorstep. Finally, I must say the staff are very thoughtful and kind. My daughter sustained a bad sprain to her ankle. They couldn’t have been kinder to her and to me. They brought bags of ice, room service tea etc. This was much appreciated. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

I’ve been in the luxury hotel business for years and can’t speak highly enough on our experience at Hotel Barocco. From check in to check out, Fabio and his crew, made us feel like family. We were always greeted with a warm and genuine smile while the staff delivered above and beyond customer service. When we return to Rome this is where we will be staying! Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

We spent eight glorious days at this beautiful hotel! We were in Rome to celebrate our 10th anniversary and Fabio and company did not disappoint. We started with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco which was greatly appreciated after a long journey. Special thanks to Stefano who went over and above. The room was impeccable and we had the terrace suite. The outdoor tub was such a great plus after a day out. If you are exploring this hotel as an option, book it!

I can’t say enough fantastic things about this gorgeous, quaint, clean, amazing boutique hotel perfectly located. The staff are the most professional and hospitable - well trained in hospitality, English is perfect, but also just good, kind people eager to help in any way possible. Rooms are fabulous, we stayed twice / once at the front end of our 14 day trip through Italy / then again at the end since we flew out of Rome both ways. We upgraded from a superior room to a junior suite and it was worth the extra expense. Breakfast was fancy ( for us) and absolutely lovely. Used this car service twice- was super. When we go back to Rome, this hotel is our absolute choice and highly recommend .

I use TripAdvisor intensely for help booking things when I travel, and so find it important to review in return for future travellers. Hotel Barocco is a dream! Wonderful location - easy to get on hop on/hop off bus (across the piazza), coffee shops and cafes all around the piazza, easy for taxi & scooters etc. The hotel itself is lovely - from the moment you walk in you feel comfortable. Lovely intimate lobby area, our room was small but the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom lovely, everything very clean. The staff though are the star - the front desk is so accommodating and helpful. It truly was a wonderful experience start to finish and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Rome!
