The staff could not have been any greater help on trip to Rome from helping with transportation, early check in and wonderful eating suggestions. location is perfect. All major sites of Rome are easy walking distance from the Barocco. With a metro station in the Plaza going to other areas of Rome is a breeze. The hotel is small while...

It is difficult to exactly explain why this is an exemplary hotel, but I will try. Yes, as others have said the location is great, the rooms are beautiful and quiet, and the breakfast is elegant and delicious. The additional amenities, like cookies and candies in the room, fresh fruit, bottled water, etc are wonderful and unexpected. Wifi was excellent....

The location is excellent. Near shops and restaurants and within walking distance to sites. This was my second time staying at hotel....room was not as nice as the first stay...maybe because it was a single, but still a great location and good hotel overall. This time took advantage of the hotel's limo from port to hotel and from hotel to...

The hotel is located in the heart of Rome, but it's quiet and comfortable in the room. The service is excellent including the breakfast, and the staffs are very kind! The room is small but warm and sweet. And they gave me a big surprise(and a set of gifts) : that's my birthday, even though i forgot it anymore!

We returned to the Barocco because we had fond memories having stayed there 16 years ago. The hotel and staff are still wonderful. As an earlier reviewer noted the staff are not some corporate robots but are engaging and genuinely want to help you enjoy your time in Rome. For example, Cristiano who greeted us when we arrived, was there...

Very comfortable, friendly and accommodating boutique hotel. Great bed, lovely room, immaculately clean. Complimentary beverages first night. Excellent breakfast. Can't beat the location to Duomo, la Scala and shopping. Public transport at the door.

Upon arrival our rooms were ready. The hotel was very clean. We were very pleased with our room as we had a balcony and a sauna! This was one of our favorite hotels along the way. Breakfast was excellent, location was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

I chose this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor, and it turned out to be a good choice. A small, boutique hotel...lovely. The location was excellent for just strolling in the evening...many restaurants within very short walking distance. The marble-clad rooms were beautiful, the Breakfast Buffet was great, and the Bar and friendly Bartender provided opportunity for discussing the...

One night pre cruise stay. Charming hotel in a great location with an excellent staff. Wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel arranged tours and transfers that were reasonably priced and offered excellent service. Our room was charming with it's own private patio. Location was very convenient to major attractions. We loved everything about it!
