We chose this hotel because of its location, Trip Advisor ratings and price. It is beautifully renovated and the upkeep is excellent. The front desk staff, especially Michaela, were wonderfully helpful. Breakfast is sumptuous and delicious. We know that European hotel rooms tend to be smaller than American hotel rooms but our room was ridiculously tight with no drawers at... More

We spent three nights at the Hotel Barocco in August and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is right off Piazza Bernini, within walking distance of all major attractions in Rome, surrounded by restaurants and stores on Via Tritone to the right & Via Veneto on the left. From the moment we checked in, the staff were helpful and went out... More

Booked 3 rooms as part of a family holiday - including 2 nights in Rome. Not our first visit to Rome; previously stayed in the Aventine area, but on this occasion we wanted something within walking distance of all the key sites. This little hotel has it all. The location was perfect - set in a quiet side street (so... More

We really enjoyed the customer service at this hotel. They really made us feel at home. The location of the hotel was also perfect for seeing the local sights. The breakfast was also very good. I would definitely go back to this hotel when we go to Rome again.

We were greeted very warmly by Michela upon arrival and were made to feel very welcome. The bell boy who showed us to our rooms took his time to explain everything. Michela was on duty most of the time were we there and provides great advice on restaurants. The rooms are small but exceptionally well appointed with the finest toiletries... More

We ended our European cruise with a one night stay at the Barocco and not only was our room ready on our early arrival the staff could not have been more welcoming! (Knowing who we were on arrival). We stayed in the annex in a double room which was beautifully decorated. Breakfast was also vast. We would definitely stay again.

Love this hotel! We went on a european tour for 24 days, and stayed in 5 different hotels. Barocco was, by far, the best hotel we stayed in. Good location close to the metro, and walking distance to a lot of sights like the trevi fountain. Spacious enough rooms by european standards. Good breakfast, with a mix of hot and... More

It is a beautiful hotel in the historic district near the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, right on Barberini Piazzi. The staff is amazing and every night we had a handwritten note wishing us a wonderful night and a treat. It was our honeymoon and the first night they sent us complimentary champagne to our room. The beds are fluffy wonderfulness,... More

We had a wonderful quick stay in Rome on our way to Bolzano and a lot of this has to do with the hospitality of the staff at Barocco Hotel. While our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 12 noon (2 pm check-in means 2 pm), Pietro, at the front desk, kindly allowed us not only to leave our... More

Very nice hotel with good amenities, excellent breakfast, and great staff. They were very good about addressing a minor maintenance issue we had. We had the suite with the terrace and "pool". Being able to sit on the terrace in the evenings was wonderful. Be aware, though, that there is no actual pool -- they really should rename the room... More
