Five-star luxury for the Ambasciatori Palace in via Vittorio Veneto, an elegant window facing the Eternal City. In an enviable location, the hotel blends the magic of traditional hospitality with contemporary elegance. Known as 'Ambassadors' Palace', it was originally built in 1903 and it has been the location of international affairs between diplomats from the nearby Embassies and a witness to the excitement of the mundane 'Dolce Vita'. The restoration was made according to the original structure of the environment, and repeating and interpreting the existing decorations: the Brazilian granite columns and the intricate wrought-iron balustrade of the grand staircase, the marble floors and the polychromatic mosaic and the pleasant succession of stuccoes, the Venetian chandeliers and skylights. The welcoming and aristocratic atmosphere of the Ambasciatori Palace combines with exclusive services provided and a careful attention to technology and comfort. The 152 rooms are bright, spacious and finely furnished, decorated in soft colors and aristocratic textures. The new Ambassador Rooms are equipped with TouchControl devices to adjust temperature and lighting and MediaHub to connect the HD screen to the TV audio/video devices. Guests can use the Fitness Center, dine at the refined and elegant restaurant 'La Terrazza', renowned for its culinary fame since the 1920's, the Embassy Bar and Bistro corner and complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms and public areas. The privileged position of the Ambasciatori Palace, in the business district, makes the Hotel the ideal location for business trips, meetings , exhibitions , banquets and vernissage. The elegant business center includes several multipurpose rooms of different sizes, some with natural light and overlooking via Veneto. The main hall is housed in the ballroom. The Ambasciatori Palace is the ideal place for an unforgettable stay among the most legendary historical-artistic monuments and the elegant shopping streets of Rome. A few steps from the Metropolitana Train (stop Barberini) allows a pleasant walk to the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona and the main railway Station Termini.

Stayed for 2 nights, 2 rooms. Staff largely ignore you, had to hail my own cab. Had to ask several times for anything. Our room the door lock was unreliabel, one of the sinks was badly cracked (really badly ) and the furnature old. The hot water was HOT then COLD, then HOT, same in our parents room. and don't expect a view. Our parents room the bed was 5 inches lower as they had no real matrass on the bed. When they complaied a thin comforter was added for the second night they were there. Interactions with the staff were minimal and they were disinterested in the guests. This hotel is in a good location but dated and with serious maintenance issues and poorly trained staff. The issue with the bed should have been addressed properly and immediately but no one seemd to know what to do. We stay in Rome quite often, wont stay there again. Still waiting for the billing problem to be addresed

Hotel is in a great location. We stayed three nights in a Suite. The room was very large but only had a small love seat in the living room, even though there was plenty of space for more furniture. It had a 4-chair dining room table. Bed was extremely comfortable. But the shower was horrible. My husband thought I was exaggerating until he hopped in. The water literally changed from scolding hot to ice cold in seconds, back and forth. Water pressure was weak. Concierge staff and doorman were great. They were very helpful, always made us feel welcomed. We only had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast one morning and it was wonderful. Housekeeping did not take our dirty dishes and empty wine bottle out so we placed it in hallway. It was there most of the day. Not sure why but no turndown service on our last night there, which I had enjoyed since they left two wonderful chocolates on our bed.

Great value for a very large clean double room - breakfast included. This old school hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood located walking distance to all the big tourist sites. Under 200E for a giant room & bathroom.Restaurants in the vicinity not very good, but a short walk you can find better.

Almost depressed every time I get back to my room. Dark and a view on a wall. Disappointing breakfast that is served in a very loud patio, twinings tea (ufff). No amenities whatsoever. Only positive point: a comfy bed

Being our honeymoon you'd expect a rose tinted view, but even with the specs off this hotel is truly outstanding! Room bigger than average - more of a suite, cleaned and serviced daily. Food was in abundance and served and cooked to perfection. All staff were extremely polite and courteous. Hotel is centrally located in desirable area. Really can't fault this hotel and look forward to a return visit. Highly recommend.
