The Baglioni Hotel Regina boasts a classic elegance that captivates many of its guests, with a prime central location that's particularly popular for exploring Rome's attractions. Despite some guests finding the decor a bit dated, the rooms are generally applauded for their cleanliness and comfort.
The service at this hotel earns high marks for its professional and accommodating staff, although some travelers have noted the value may not always meet expectations, with occasional concerns over unexpected costs. Amenities are largely appreciated, though there's a sense that some could benefit from modernization.

This hotel is in a great location in Rome. You can walk to the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. The colosseum is a 30 minute walk.
The service is wonderful and the rooms are well appointed. The toiletries are very good as well.
This is my second time at this hotel and I would definitely return.
Truly a leading hotel of the world.

Baglioni Regina delivers an evocative experience that is unique. The highly individual,
unsurpassable staff, never stop thinking about your happiness from the moment you step through the doors. La Dolce Vita is here and it's real. The rooms are superb, the restaurant one of the most elegant I've experienced. Lie back, relax and luxuriate.
Switch your phone off (it should never have been invented), log off your computer, (it shouldn't exist).
From now on your every whim is catered for.

Lovely hotel in central Rome, with a great location near Borghese Park. I especially recommend it to those for whom the professional, and at the same time, warm and friendly attitude of the staff is important. Out of 10 points -10! Delicious, beautifully served breakfast. Very elegant breakfast hall. Very clean and comfortable rooms, the noise from the street perfectly drowns out the windows, and I probably have not seen a quieter air conditioner, which is very important at night.

First and foremost is remarkable how professional the staff is, demonstrating a careful selection process for each position and a genuine care for guests’ wellbeing. Only those hotels aimed at fulfilling the purpose of making their guests a truly memorable stay achive that stage and the Regina Baglioni is certainly one of the few of them.
Being in a central location, on just 5 minutes walk to Trevi, Via Condotti or Spanish Steps make it the ideal choice for those willing to be central while, at same time, not suffering from noise and crowds of hotels exactly just on those places.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the added value, for those appreciating that unique characteristic, of having pieces of furniture that are, each of them, true pieces of Art Deco of the best materials that one can imagine. A good reason on its own to chose the Regina Baglioni rather than a standard big hotel chain hotel.
Breakfast is also another great must at the hotel. On top of the wide range of options from the buffet and the attentive service, besides the magnificent atmosphere of the salon, one would have its spirit also fed by the enchanting sound of the harp played by a talented lady maestro.
It is clearly not a big hotel, neither a small one, just the right size to make you feel at home but with the advantages that a luxury hotel offers.

We booked only a few hours before arriving into Rome. We learned upon our arrival that the Baglioni had only just opened up the week prior, resulting in it being very quiet but this had no effect on our trip (Rome and the immediate area around the hotel were also very quiet).
As for COVID precautions, there were plenty of hand sanitisers, masks were to be worn whilst walking through the hotel and there was a form to sign upon check in. Disappointedly the sauna area wasn’t open and it wasn’t disclosed until we wanted to use the facility. Room was very clean, spacious, grand with lovely turn down service with slippers. Tv could have done with Netflix but that’s a personal preference. Some beautiful touches as it was my birthday during our stay - a bottle of bubbles and some sweet treats at no cost. Thank you for this! Nice hotel bar, pricey but to be expected. The staff are all extremely pleasant, welcoming and friendly who are happy to oblige with any questions/umbrellas/recommendations. Was shocked that 2x gelatos to the room cost €40 but reception quickly sorted this out at check out. In terms of area, it’s perfect! Walking distance to all attractions, steps, Trevi, Vatican City, Pantheon, even the Colosseum is only ~20mins. This was a big selling point. Overall, highly recommended. Bravo Baglioni.

The Hotel is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and its a perfect location walking distance from Villa Borgese, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Via del Corso etc
Due to the heavy heat in Rome we usually preferred to take a taxi and the doorman were always very kind and would assist with a smile to order one.
Concierge ( 3-4 of them were all super kind and knowledgable).
The breakfast staff were very professional and friendly! We had breakfast included even though we ended up paying extra for omelette and pancakes.
Unfortunately in my opinion the breakfast is not that rich like in some of LHOW hotels we ve been to.
I sincerely think it was lacking more fruits and vegetables options.
We booked a junior suite that was located on a 3rd floor.
Hotel is with a very tiny but grandiose lobby area, filled with beautiful flowers , statues and paintings.
Elevator is super small, barely 3 people can fit.
Room was ok, not as big as some of junior suites we usually stay at, it has a super dark colors which I dont personally like.
Hotel and especially rooms are in urgent need of renovation anywhere you look you can see that its worn out.
The truth is that you have such a wonderful staff that we didnt pay attention to all the downsides and would definitely return to this property.
Lilit from spa was super helpful and assistive and made us feel very welcomed and at home.
This time we stayed 5 days.

Very nice hotel! Location is cool, 3 minutes to walk from the Villa Borghese, where you can rent a bicycle and enjoy nature and great view on the city from the top. 15 minutes to walk from the Spanish steps and the shopping area. The service in the hotel is good, managers are always ready to helg. The concierge stays at the office till late time, that’s very comfortable, if you decide to go out for the late dinner. He will recommend and book the table in any restaurant. Breakfast is pretty good. Although we always were late and used to come 5 minutes before the end of the breakfast, waiters were very polite and never rushed us. The waiter Natalia is Russian speaking (that’s very comfortable for us), she always suggested her help, asked if we need something else. My husband doesn’t speak English at all, so for him it was a big help. The Russian speaking manager at the desk Olga is very polite and helpful too. So, we recommend to all the Russian speaking tourists this hotel, they will not face any problems, even if they don’t speak English or Italian!

In my opinion the Baglioni is one of the most beautiful Grand Hotels in Rome.
There are many hotels with international attitude, despite an Italian name. At the Baglioni you can be sure to experience authentic italian hospitality. The hotel is not big, the rooms are art deco style and very beautiful. I love that there are marble floors in the rooms (no capets) and the bathroom is nealy as big as the room itself - it even had a balcony overlooking Via Veneto. The staff ist extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge recommendet restaurants away from the well-known tourist spots (we had the best fish ever) and the maid works quickly, attentively - the rooms are spotlessly clean. It is a short walk to Piazza Barberini and the Spanish Steps, the villa Borhese is right in front of the hotel. And last but not least: for the standard offered the prices are also very interesting. We will be back!

Choosing a hotel in Rome is a bewildering process. We ended up with a two bedroom two bathroom suite at Baglioni and were very happy with our choice.
Our room had been recently renovated and was great. Not noisy at all, and very nicely appointed. Staff were very friendly upon arrival and every time we walked past. The breakfast is excellent. We discovered the trick is to get to breakfast at (say) 7:50 rather than 8:05, because businessmen would descend on the breakfast room like a plague of dark-suited locusts. The staff were very good at replenishing, but pays to get there just before rather than just after.
The location worked well for us. The nearest metro station was unfortunately closed, which otherwise would have made it work even better. Taxi to the main station was quick and efficient.
The hotel has a really pleasant vibe. Everybody - the concierge, the doormen, the desk staff, the breakfast people. We would stay there again without hesitation.

When arrived the gentleman at the door gave me a warm and polite welcome. I felt the same at the reception checking in and on several occasions Francesca, Simone, Stefania and Mark, all very polite and accommodating took excellent care of my inquiries.
I was introduced to the room professionally and enthusiastically. The room is nicely decorated, has white walls and black trimmings and a comfortable bed. The bathroom offers very nice amenities as well.
The breakfast is probably the highlight of the stay with an abundance of choices, great cappuccino, bread, fruits and cheeses but above all the service. Paola and her companions are setting a very high standard of service.
The food and service at the Brunello restaurant was outstanding as well as the service provided by Fabio, Salvatore and RIdge. As a vegetarian Fabio was very accommodating and I had a delicious salad, a pasta and a fruit salad work of art, all were perfectly timed.
Great location too.
The only complaint I have is the requested car to take me to the airport did not show up and I was charged 92 euros. The concierge got me a taxi and the hotel took care of the fare.

I would recommend making reservations for the hot tub/sauna if possible. When we got down there it was already booked.
My apologies, but I am unable to answer your query. The room in which we stayed at the Baglioni Regina was not a family room.
Rental car can be done in the city or at the train station but driving in Rome is not fun as well as finding a parking spot. On site parking is not available but there are a few nearby parking garage including bigger ones at the Villa Borghese which is about 8-10min walk from the hotel.
Probably best to email hotel concierge to see whether they work with any nearby parking garage in case they have a deal. Good luck!
The suite, for us, was ample in size - with an outdoor patio area.
Beautifully furnished, lovely large bathroom; separate little writing nook etc - just beautiful. x
