My teenage son and I stayed at this wonderful gem in Rome just a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is only minutes away from the Spanish Steps by walking. We were met with the warmest front desk staff. Mainella was absoltely fantastic who made sure we were comfortable and felt welcomed. We stayed at the newly renovated section. The room and the bathroom were clean, well appointed. The shower had the best water pressure!!! Breakfast was included in my room rate, and they were delicious. Everyone who worked there were kind, and eager to please their guests. I would absolultely go back there again.

I had a great time staying at this hotel, primarily because staff was equal to the quality of the atmosphere, each one adding their own personal touch to my stay. I really liked the room as it featured huge open space with marble floors and 3 balconies with views of Rome. I wish the hotel was more centrally located but for quality, this is one of the best you can find.

The Three of us went to Regina Baglioni to celebrate my birthday. ( I have booked and paid hotel in advance). On our arrival hotel staff placed myself and a friend in to a small single room, giving our third guest twin deluxe room, which clearly was meant for 2 people! A mistake I could not rectify as I was embarrassed to ask my guest to leave her room now, where hotel staff placed her and she did not want to share the room with one of us! So the 2 of us had to share this small single room we ended up with. :( Hotel never offered alternative. Secondly: naturally we wanted to use hotel facilities sauna, steam room and / or spa ( I guess they have one as I never saw it). I have emailed them requesting to use the facilities, but no one ever replied and to my face to face request: My request was rejected!! It was cold, we were tired and needed some pampering time. I understand that the spa treatments were booked, but to reject our use of facilities we paid for was too much!! We just needed few minutes at least in the steam or sauna to warm up!!! Nothing else! ( I never saw those facilities or any other part of the hotel apart from the small room we were staying in and windowless breakfast room). As if this isn’t enough On our last day at Regina Baglioni there was a terrible noise right in front of our rooms. It was unbearable. I was going to get out and say something, but since my request and cry for the sauna was rejected and ignored the day before I decided to leave it and was looking forward to going back home that same day! As for the noise I thought guests were leaving early and packing big boxes with sticky tape or moving heavy stuff! It turns out THE HOTEL STAFF WERE RIPPING THE CARPET IN FRONT OF OUR ROOMS at 7 am!! Unbelievable!! I decided to leave it as talking to them would get you no where as I saw the day before in regards to the spa and hotel facilities. I just lied there thinking where did I get to. What kind of a place and was looking forward to our departure few hours later. And to make al this worse the receptionist started calling me around 10am ( while I was in the shower) to let me know that my transfer car to the airport is waiting!!! Our flight was at 17:15 in the afternoon!!! SERIOUSLY!!! And As if none of the above was enough, just before the departure they gave a massage to our girlfriend (third guest who ended up with the big room) and the two of us got final KICK IN THE GUT!!! Ruined Birthday. ( BTW breakfast is super limited and the only good thing there was the breakfast staff).

Dear Madame First of all, I would like to express my apologies for the unpleasant inconvenient experienced the day of your departure with the carpet in the corridor. Although inexcusable, it is clearly a human error, our maintenance Team supposed to change the carpet on the 7th floor and mistakenly they started for corridor on the 6th where your room was allocated. I do respect your opinion, but in mine, this is the only issue that needs attention to be resolved. From your side it would be honest to admit that we stopped immediately and apologized for the mistake. I will investigate further in order to understand how was possible that we never replied to your emails regarding the SPA, but let me clarify that we are strictly following the Italian legislation and protocols. Health and safety of our valued guests and Team Members is something cannot be negotiated. Madame, I want reassure you that yours was a very isolate episode, and last time we had such bad review on TripAdvisor was the 7th of July 2018. In the meanwhile, we had the honor and privilege to serve more than 150.000 guests here at the Baglioni Hotel Regina. On a closure note, it would have been nice from your part to mention the special attention and surprise dedicated by the Team Members in occasion of your birthday, but then I took a look to your profile on TripAdvisor and I realized that 4 out of 7 reviews you posted are absolutely negative and disruptive. Sincerely, Massimo Mainella General Manager

Very nice hotel! Location is cool, 3 minutes to walk from the Villa Borghese, where you can rent a bicycle and enjoy nature and great view on the city from the top. 15 minutes to walk from the Spanish steps and the shopping area. The service in the hotel is good, managers are always ready to helg. The concierge stays at the office till late time, that’s very comfortable, if you decide to go out for the late dinner. He will recommend and book the table in any restaurant. Breakfast is pretty good. Although we always were late and used to come 5 minutes before the end of the breakfast, waiters were very polite and never rushed us. The waiter Natalia is Russian speaking (that’s very comfortable for us), she always suggested her help, asked if we need something else. My husband doesn’t speak English at all, so for him it was a big help. The Russian speaking manager at the desk Olga is very polite and helpful too. So, we recommend to all the Russian speaking tourists this hotel, they will not face any problems, even if they don’t speak English or Italian!

Great hotel. To say that it is perfectly located is to say nothing. The best what hotel has is their employees! Everyone starting from the reception till dining room stuff were highly professional. And they still do have a portier wearing a nice classic style suit, which shows not only style but also high class of the hotel! Please keep doing your job always so good and we will be back!
