great hotel and service - beautiful building centrally located, very attentive and thoughtful staff, excellent breakfast buffet and spacious rooms. We we will choose the same hotel for our next stay in Rome!
Very fine hotel in an excellent location about 10 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain. Enjoyed 35th wedding anniversary weekend there. Rooms and facilities excellent. Breakfast a touch over priced and not the cheapest drinks we have ever had, but when it’s a big anniversary..:.::
Needs to come into the 21st century. There is almost no place to charge devices….one outlet over the desk and one in the bathroom. My husband and I have 4 devices between us…2 phones, 2 iPads, but only 2 outlets. Additionally, the concierge sent us to an American tourist trap with pretend Italian and bad service….Osteria 44. The bathroom in our room has a mold issue in the crown molding. We stayed at the Baglioni in Florence and had a wonderful experience. So disappointed.
Having stayed in many 5 star hotels I can confidently rank this hotel as a solid 3. It is just not in that class. While the lobby is quite lovely and the staff a treasure, the actual rooms are quite tired. Funereal would be an apt description. There was a large stain on the upholstered wall by the entry. The room was TINY. Barely enough room to walk around the room. The bathroom sink was cracked. There were cracked shower tiles that were patched by someone with vision impairment. The desk chair was cracked and did not appear safe to sit in. The view was an alley roof with air handling units. Sadly neglected hotel.
We stayed here recently as our base from which to explore Rome. Hotel staff were very helpful. Room felt a bit tired but was nice. Good breakfast. Restaurant was being refurbished so we couldn’t try it. Overall we were very happy and would stay again
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Baglione Regina on our visit to Rome to celebrate her significant birthday. From check-in to check-out we could not have asked for more from the wonderful staff of the hotel. Reception, concierge, room staff and restaurant staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were surprised and delighted to receive complimentary drinks and treats in our room. The room itself was beautiful. The selection of food at breakfast was excellent, setting us up perfectly for the lovely walks that we took on each day of our visit. The Regina is in a really great location on Via Veneto, and is a fantastic base for seeing Rome. It’s close to Villa Borghese, and a short stroll from Spagna and the Centro Storico. In the beautiful spring weather it was an easy walk to places like Citta Vaticano and Trastevere. A 15 minute evening stroll brought us to the opera at Teatro dell’Opera. Our stay at the Baglioni Regina surpassed our expectations and I could not recommend it more highly.…
Beautiful hotel, truly worth its stars. Amazing rooms and spa, beautiful dining experience. Feels like you live in a palace and everyone is super friedly I am definitely coming back to this wonderful place!
The hotel is located in a beautiful location and has a very traditional yet expensive feel. The staff are incredibly helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Room was a very good size. We got a free drink on arrival and we’re asked many times throughout our stay as to whether the hotel could do anything to make our stay any better. Negatives - €25 euros for a non-branded Champagne is very steep, a glass of Moet at Harrys Bar is €18 - At breakfast they store dirty plates in the same room as where guests are eating. This was really not pleasant. - The hotel has a very strange rule about not allowing air conditioning until some unknown date in May. Our room was 25 degrees at night and the air con just blows out warm air. Given the hotel is on a very busy 4 lane road we couldn’t open the window either. - The showers are very old fashioned and are manual taps to control water temperature which is not ideal. - The hotel doesn’t have a true bar room like feel, more the feeling of a place to have coffee and cake’s or afternoon tea, it’s a plush loving room rather than a bar where you could sit. - There is no external area to sit for drinks or food which is a huge shame and disappointment, for this we had to walk to other hotels that had either outside seating or roof terraces. Overall it was a nice stay but given the lack of sleep due to the 25 degrees heat I certainly wouldn’t return unless the air conditioning was guaranteed to be working and cold.…
We returned to the Baglioni and found it as wonderful as our last visit in October. The hotel is extremely well run. Service is all "Can Do!' You cannot beat the location on the Via Veneto. We will return here.
Still my favorite hotel in Rome, been back after 2 years. Even though I have stayed there several times, I never wrote a recension. I am so happy to be back at the Regina that I needed to share this gem located in the middle of the "dolce vita" street. The fact that they recognized me right away made my day too! I was there on business, nevertheless it is terrific to able to stroll down to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain in the evening. Top notch service all around. The rooms I stayed in where spacious and quite. Had dinner a few times in their restaurant and I tried it again during this last trip. I definitely recommend it.
