The Flora is located on the Via Veneto close to the Villa Borghese Gardens and Gallery. The hotel is very nicely appointed. Rooms are comfortable, a bit small but typical of older hotels in Rome, with modern amenities and very nice bathrooms. Wifi is fast. The breakfast menu is buffet style and served in a room on the 7th floor...

Stayed here for a week while my husband had a conference. It was a nice Marriott property with oversized king beds. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was small and had a bidet, which was nice. The breakfast every morning was very good with plenty of options to choose from. I liked that it was on the top floor with...

I won't give it even 1 star other then the fact the restaurant is on the top floor with an excellent view... concierge was very good and helpful... Will I say again... yes as I am loyal to Marriott...

Located at the top of the Via Veneto hill, which means its fine for walking downhill to the main sites but quite a trek if you try to walk back up hill after a long day of touring. But you can ask hotel for Metro and bus options you might want to consider when coming back (or take a taxi)....

This was the nicest hotel I stayed at during my 5 cities in Italy. Far enough away from the tourist spots near the Colosseum, but walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The staff was extremely helpful. Took time to show us the room in advance, and helped us make dinner reservations. Their English skills were above average. A very...

I had read so many reviews before going. But despite what I had read my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The front desk, the concierge, the cleaning staff all very accommodating and very kind. I felt like it really was their pleasure to serve. Breakfast was amazing up on the rooftop! Dinner was not as amazing. We went to...

We had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel. The location was perfect for walking to many of the sites. The view from the rooftop restaurant was beautiful. The food was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

We were originally planning on staying at a different property and were offered to stay at this hotel due to the other location still being closed due to the delay in the renovation. We had a king size bed in the room and have a Via Veneto view from the room. The room was recently renovated and had very nice...

My family and I were very unhappy with this hotel. We were a party of five, and the only reason we booked this hotel is because we were able to book the Presidential suite for the five of us. I'm not sure if this is the fault of Hotels.com or the Marriott, but when we arrived, we were told we...

Booked a one night stay using my husband's points, post cruise. My husband checked us in on line the night before. We got to the Flora around 11 a.m. and only waited a few minutes for the very busy Francesca (I think that was her name) to complete the process. She gave us 50% off coupons for their cafe, asked...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
