My wife and I recently stayed at the Grand Flora for 4 nights. Like many of the other reviewers, I am a Marriott Platinum member and used points for the stay. I wouldn't necessarily pay full price, but it was definitely worth the points used. Highlights: - Wonderful location. Close enough to walk to many of the top attractions like... More

The Hotel has wedding parties in their 7th floor restaurant. Not a fun time listening from our 6th floor room. Sounded like they were dancing on our ceiling. We had an early flight out the next morning so when they let them go until 12:30 am, we were not happy.

I took my family of four (two boys; ages 8 and 13) to Rome for the first time over the Eid holidays. We only had three full days and we made the best of it thanks to the hotel referring us to Love Holidays and their exceptional staff. However, I will review the hotel first. We did not spend much... My husband and I just returned from an 11 night stay at the Grand Flora. I have to ay that Rome is amazing and the Grand Flora was spectacular. I began planning out anniversary vacation 8 month ago and worked via email with Francesa at the front desk for months asking questions and confirming the plans. She was amazing and... More

Excellent location. Walking distance to Piazza de Spanga. The hotel is located on a lovely street with great selection of restaurants and shops. Short taxi ride to main tourist attractions. Very nice rooms and lobby area. Helpful staff.

There are hotels closer to a lot of the sights in Rome but this was still located very conveniently to number of them and we walked to most everything we wanted to see. Super soft beds - which are hard to find in Europe by the way. We had a king size bed and slept really well for the first... More

The hotel has an excellent location. About a 20 minute walk from the Coliseum and closer to the Trevi Fountain. It's in a very nice neighborhood where there are many embassies and restaurants. The room was excellent and the staff was superb.

We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. It is a beautiful building. Our room wasn't big, but perfectly lovely. The bathroom was small, but this is typical in Europe, right? We didn't eat in the restaurant there, but we did enjoy pre or post dinner drinks in the bar. It was a quiet bar with music... More

We stayed here for 5 nights the last week of August. The location is excellent. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and the subway which is very easy to use. We arrived around noon from a long day of traveling and were delighted that our room was ready. Our room was on the 6th floor and it was very... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
