I checked into Hotel Fiamma on the 22nd of July, after having travelled from Venice, down through Tuscany with my girlfriend over the space of 8 days, with Rome being the final destination of our trip. We were perfectly aware that the hotel wouldn't be luxurious, but we were happy enough to sacrifice that given the location, just a few... More

This hotel is very convenient to the Termini station....only about 2-3 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was simple but good. Room was very basic, but clean. In some months, the A/C is not turned on and so you must keep the windows open for fresh air, but then there is a lot of street noise.... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be clean, the hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was continental and there was plenty of choice. The room was basic with en suite, but as we only using the room to get sleep in, we were very happy with it. The only downside was that we were... More

This hotel has the perfect location near to the main train station,if coming from the airport bus stop on Marsala street, head on up away from the station through the main street and the hotel is first on the left. The breakfasts were decent enough and for the price, this is a good value stay. Only one problem, and one that is... More

We had booked to stay for 2 nights at Hotel Fiamma for May 20th-21st. The hotel is close to the train station and subway station, about 5-10 min. walk. Upon our check in we were told that there was no hot water, and that our suitcases were too big for the rooms in the hotel (We had 2 20 inch... More

+ Location. It was really close to termini and the public transport and a 20 min. walk from most of the monuments. + Staff. Its staff was helpful and kind. - The hotel needs a renovation as soon as possible. The breakfast room was dirty and the rooms were smelling. If i go to Rome again i wont stay there!

Nice place . Good food. Clean and pleasant. It is close to Termini station where you can take bus or subway. It is near to important poit af attraction from Rome. Pay attention to thieves. It's a lot of busy places where is possible to have unpleasant surprises.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
