We had a triple room on the second floor of this hotel. The room was lovely and clean and quite spacious i thought for a triple. The bathrom was ok too. We overlooked the busy road below but was not bothered by the noise as we had double glazing. (If you visit a city you've got to expect noise?) The... More

Location, location, location! The Genio hotel is very centrally located and provides adequate rooms and service at an affordable price. It is perfect to discover the city. If, however, you like short walks in the morning and spend the afternoon in the lavish luxury of a superb hotel, you'd better check into the Raphael next door or one of the... More

My new husband and I stayed here from the 17th-23rd July for part of our honeymoon. I booked this hotel purely for location and went there expecting problems after reading some of the reviews. Firstly I read that a lot of people had problems with their bookings so I took it upon myself to reconfirm our stay on the 7th... More

I booked this hotel through Tourcrafters for 3 nights and was disappointed in the service but loved the location. ADVANTAGES The hotel is just steps away from Piazza Navona and just a couple of blocks from the Vatican! The Colloseum & Trevi Fountain are further away, but if you don't mind walking a bit, it's still within a reasonable walking... More

Booked through Easyjet to stay at Hotel Genio for four nights at the end of June. Three people travelling, booked a single and a twin room. Twin room £50 per person per night, for bed and breakfast, an absolute bargain for this location in Rome, at this time. I emailed Leonardi Hotels direct prior to our stay to confirm the... More

We booked a double room in September 2005 for Easter 2006. We got a confirmation by fax that we had a reservation. In March 2006 the hotel Genio again confirmed to us that the reservation in the hotel was OK. When we arrived on Sunday April 10, 2006 and asked for our room, we were told that the hotel was... After checking the reviews on this hotel, a bit worried about our stay. You couldn't get a better location, we could walk everywhere - VATICAN, PANTHEON, SPANISH STEPS, TREVI FOUNTAIN AND PIAZZA NAVONA ACROSS THE STREET. The hotel was comfortable, nothing special, on a busy street with road works. We could sleep with the bathroom window open, the noise wasn't... More

Location near the Vatican, Piazza Navona and an interesting neighborhood are the hotel’s best points. However, it is on a noisy street and you have to keep the windows closed if you have a front room. We had one facing the side street and it was not too noisy. Room size and bathroom were OK. The A/C could not be... More

This hotel was great, literally round the corner from the nicest square in Rome - Piazza Navona and a 5-10 min walk to the vatican, Trevi Fountain etc etc. We were spoilt with a room on the 5th floor that had a balcony growing lemons!! but i'd just like to clarify that we paid the cheapest rate around so it... Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city.
