I have to concur, the front of house staff is outstanding! Attention to detail, concierge was most helpful. The rooms? In a word: " old world luxury. Beautiful outside porch overlooked the cafes, street full of people just enjoying the Strolls. The beds were nice and firm yet comfortable. The marble Terrazzo style floors and huge bathrooms made this a... More

Great Hotel Staff and Nice Rooms. We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Not cheap but worth the money. Easy to walk to good restaurants and subway. Staff tries to really take care of their guests. Would stay again. We are a couple in our early 40's and like comfort, lol. This definitely fits the bill.

I first have to say that the front and concierge staff are probably some of the best I've ever seen. The were incredibly accommodating and presented a bottle of champagne for a speedy recovery (I had a nasty cycling accident a few days before). Excellent overall, though I would say that there is a lot of street noise. Bring your... More

Stayed here with my wife on a weekend break.Had a fantastic Suite with its own roof terrace complete with sun beds and dining table, ideal for breakfast. The staff were excellent with a special mention to the concierge who organised a table at a great ,popular restaurant with only 30 mins notice. Also the hotel arranged a tour guide with car to take... This is the first time have stayed at the Majestic Hotel in Rome. Its quite a nice hotel on the Via Veneto, well located. The rooms were nice, It was very hot the 2 days we stayed, and although the room was cool, it could have been a bit cooler. The decoration is quite nice, it has a great outdoor... More

The concierge service in this hotel was very good, they referred us to a Tour guide Alessio who was the best in the two days we used him.. This is 5 star hotel very well located in Rome, at the end of Via Veneto. The hotel has all the amenities you would need for a top notch stay in Rome.... More

Guys, you are either a hotel, or you are a nightclub. You can't be both. The hotel tends to have noisy parties in the restaurant lasting until late night hours. Slow internet connection. The only elevator was broken for a couple of days when we stayed there. Spartan choices from the in-room dining menu. A great location on Via Veneto saves... More

Stayed here twice over a short period at the start and end of a short tour. Well located near one end of the Via Veneto near the Barberini Square where the hop on-hop off buses have a stop. Walking distance to the Spanish Steps (Closed) and the Trevi Fountain. Staff were friendly and helpful and English was no problem. The... More

The Majestic is a traditional luxury hotel on the famous Via Veneto. From the moment we parked our car we were treated like royalty. Our room was large and the bathroom even had a big window. Breakfast was plentiful, but what I liked most was the staff. Incredible attention from the doorman to reception and concierge, all the way to... More

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Rome very close to Vila Borghese and the Spanish Steps in the famous Via Veneto. Sadly in my view location is all it has going for it, decoration is pretty imposing with tons of marble and huge staircases but there is a total disregard for comfort. The meeting rooms don't have... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Majestic Roma embraces its neoclassical heritage by reinventing it for the 21st century and offering guests the chance to step into a one of the city's most glamorous residences. The hotel is an original combination of styles, a study in careful contradictions that juxtaposes white lacquered pieces of furniture, rich textures and the extraordinary use of color to evoke an emotional response from all who visit. Rooms and suites show a gentle use of simple lines and almost imperceptible curves, creating a perfect blend of innovative setup style combined with classic elegance. The hotel Majestic Roma is located directly on Via Veneto, few steps from Villa Borghese, the second largest landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and city's finest boutiques. Convenient to enjoy museums, theatre, nightlife, restaurants and to reach the financial center. ... more   less
