Most helpful and efficient hotel staff I have encountered in Rome. Nothing was too much trouble and always happy to talk and advise. Dining facilities are exemplary. Multi lingual reception desk capable of sorting out any issue. Did my flight check-ins and conversed with airline on my behalf. Hotel is well positioned and well within walking distance of central Rome... More

In our 2nd trip to Rome, we decided to stay at a different hotel on the Via Venetto. The Hotel Majestic Roma did not disappoint! We booked 2 upgraded deluxe rooms and were so pleased to find them clean, well appointed, and quite spacious. My wife even commented that the shower was one of the best in any hotel we've... More

We would not care to stay here very long. We were there only one night before a cruise . The room was quite small with mirrors everywhere in the room, decor tired modern. The location is great and walking distance to cafes, riestaurants, other hotels. They have a lovely patio, lots of trees and greenery surround the very large patio.... More

We stayed at a Deluxe Double at Majestic. The historic hotel is wonderfully located at Via Vittorio Veneto and features a unique architecture. Our stay was overall excellent: very good sleep quality, high maintenance standards to our room and overall to the hotel's look and feel, amazing breakfast, very polite staff, and a great concierge. We would definitely go there... More

Wonderful service! Very professional. Always available when needed. Breakfast was great. Willing to make anything to our liking even if it wasn't on the menu. The The hotel is in a great location, not too busy or crowded like some of the other hotels close to famous landmarks. It is less than one block from the metro and other city... More

I feel really conned. After doing research I chose this hotel for my stay which was listed at $243 per night for my stay Sept.15 to 20. But i is false advertising. When I clicked to reserve I was transferred to your page which lists the price as more than $1000 per night. I did it twice, so it is... More

An elegant hotel in a great spot. You can walk to an incredible number of sights. Nice size rooms and the best breakfast we had on our trip! A quaint little bar and a wonderful patio, make for a spot you can really enjoy the view.

The hotel seems to have been renovated quite recently and is overall in a very good and clean state. Location is quite good no too far from all major Roman attractions, close to lively district, and the upscale Borghese area. Staff is warmly greeting you and assisting you as needed. The superior room was quite spacious, the bathroom a little... More

My wife and I just stayed at the Hotel Majestic this past weekend and had a great experience. We knew we wanted to stay in the Spanish Steps area of Rome and we're lucky enough to decide on this hotel. It is in a great location, 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and a 10 minute walk max to... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Majestic Roma embraces its neoclassical heritage by reinventing it for the 21st century and offering guests the chance to step into a one of the city's most glamorous residences. The hotel is an original combination of styles, a study in careful contradictions that juxtaposes white lacquered pieces of furniture, rich textures and the extraordinary use of color to evoke an emotional response from all who visit. Rooms and suites show a gentle use of simple lines and almost imperceptible curves, creating a perfect blend of innovative setup style combined with classic elegance. The hotel Majestic Roma is located directly on Via Veneto, few steps from Villa Borghese, the second largest landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and city's finest boutiques. Convenient to enjoy museums, theatre, nightlife, restaurants and to reach the financial center. ... more   less
