My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights before our cruise. It has the best location possible. You walk 3-4 min. to the right and you get to the Trevi Fountain. You walk 3-4 min. to the left and you get to the Pantheon. 2-3 min. from the Pantheon and you are at Piazza Navona. We walked... More

My family of four stayed 3 nites in this hotel before departing on our cruise from Rome. The location is perfect because it is central to so many of the main tourist spots. The staff was courteous and professional. Breakfast in the roof top terrace could not be better. AC was strong, and the room was clean and quiet. Highly... More

If you're able to find this little gem you're lucky. Although it is very old it is quite quaint. No A/C so with the windows open it can be noisy if you're an early sleeper. The location is perfect for walking to landmarks, Trevi Fountain or the Pantheon in the middle of both. and great location to local bus and... More

So this place is not the most luxurious place but it gets five stars in my book because it's located in the heart of the city. Blocks from the Pantheon and the trevi fountain. Additionally the staff is amazing and the roof top happy hour is awesome. The room is clean and the AC is great. The breakfast is also... More

Pleasantly surprised at this three star - okay, so the wallpaper wasn't in the best shape and it is definitely dated, but it was clean, quiet, and the location was perfect! My baggage didn't make it to Rome and the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way several times to make calls on my behalf to the... More

This hotel has some high points - it is in a great location, between the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon, making touring Rome a bit easier on the feet! The reception staff - notably Bernardo and Sharon were very helpful. As others said, the rooftop for breakfast was unique and enjoyable. Disappointments - our room was tiny and outdated -... More

My husband and I enjoyed three nights at Albergo Cesari. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace is amazing for drinks at night as well as breakfast in the morning. The air conditioning works extremely well. The room itself is dated but functional and comfortable. The wifi worked well. The location of the hotel was perfect,... More

Centrally located and tucked away on a narrow street lined with outdoor restaurants. Accommodations were clean and the breakfast buffet, table service and views were great. Staff arranged airport pickup and at least made an effort to get us into a room long before check-in time.

You cannot beat the location of this hotel! Its less then a 5 minute walk away from both the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. Having visited Rome before, we had to get the metro almost everywhere so this hotel was perfect as we walked everywhere this time round! The hotel itself is pleasant and was always clean and the staff... More

I loved this Hotel, it couldn't have been more central. While it is not a large ornate Hotel it has lovely character and the most beautiful Roof top Restaurant/Bar to start or finish off your lovely days in this glorious city. Rooms are not very large but very comfortable and bear in mind that most of these buildings are very... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
