When first arriving I thought to myself where are we its in a side alley but upon entering the rooms found the to be spacious bathroom isn't a bad size the actual shower a little small The staff are friendly and go out of the way to make your stay a pleasant one It's walking distance to bars and food... Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The hotels roof Terrence is great to have the complimentary buffet breakfast on or finishing off the evening with a drink. The rooms are clean and our our no21 was a good size. the hotel is not a modern one but its quaintness is one of its attractions The hotel is located only a... More

The location of Albergo Cesari is unquestionably among the best in town. It is about 5 minutes away from Fontana Trevi, 5 minutes in the other direction from Pantheon, 8 minutes from Piazza Navona, 10 minutes from Foro di Augusto, Foro di Cesare, Foro Traiano and Vittorio Emmanuele Monument. I even walked back to the hotel from Vatican, across Ponte... More

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. The Pantheon and Trevi Fountain are literally foot steps away. The hotel has a classic Italian feel. The only thing I would improve on is the bathroom but we made it work. The breakfast was tasty and the rooftop terrace at night had great drinks. The hotel staff was very friendly. Tomaso... More

Though I did not manage to stay in this property the manager and staff have been extremely kind and helpful over an issue with my booking for which i am very grateful. I would definitely make a reservation here if ever in Rome

We have just had 3 days in Rome at the start of our holiday. This hotel is perfectly situated between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain making it possible to walk to both the Colliseum and St Peter's- even with a 12 year old! Our room (a classic triple) was large, clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was the small shower. The... More

The best thing about this hotel is its location. We would pop in a couple times per day to either take a rest or drop off some shopping. Room 49 was cramped and the shower tiny. Room 49, good size but no view at all, just some pipes. Hotel needs a good refurbishment. Breakfast was average. Good value for money.

This was my first trip to Italy, was traveling with my 25 year old daughter and my close friend. We read other reviews of this hotel which convinced us to book our stay there and I am so glad we did! The location could not have been better, so close to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Great restaurants... More

I really liked this place. It had shutters over the window that overlooked the square next door, had good restaurants right on the street below, was a five minute walk to the Trevi fountain in one direction and a ten minute walk to the Parthenon in the other. Despite all this, once you closed the window and drew the curtains... More

Let's start with the pros: excellent location (and I mean excellent). You are near to everything in Rome. We walked to the Vatican no probs though it's about 40 mins away. Room size is ok. Breakfast is OK and continental. House keeping do a good job. Cons: The breakfast charge for cooked. Only a few euros but still. The bathroom... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
