This place has everything - excellent service, excellent staff, excellent location, lovely rooms and reasonable prices. A real gem in the heart of Rome. My partner and I stayed here during a birthday city break and we couldn't have been more pleased with the place. The breakfast was fabulous, wherever you're from, with some traditional Italian offerings amongst the usual...

We stayed at this hotel through a Travelzoo deal in February 2017. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and everything worked. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and much appreciated at the end of a day's sight seeing!

Stayed here for a weekend break. Hotel was clean. Beds comfy. A few stairs and it got warm in the night. Well glazed windows meaning you could not hear the night workers. Staff were very pleasant booking cabs and dinner reservations for us all. Breakfast was fresh and the cappuccinos were amazing! Worth a stay.

This hotel is ideal for a short break in Rome. Situated in a convenient location for the main train station and metro line, so very easy to get around. We traveled from the airport by train and found it easy to negotiate. There are plenty of restaurants to chose from close by. The Colosseum, Santa Maria Magiore, Spanish Steps and...

Just back from an excellent stay at this hotel with welcoming and helpful staff in a lovely room. Ideally situated close to the Termini for all forms of transport links. Additionally there are loads of pluses from the standard of the room; the free WiFi; the helpful staff and their hints and tips as to where to eat or how...

Literally a 5 minuet walk from Termini station and subway. The room was very clean and styled in an opulent Italian style. The bathroom was very clean, shower was great and they had lots of shower gel etc. Reasonably quiet street. The staff were very helpful and polite. As we visited in February the room rate was only €65 a...

We have just come back from a week in Rome staying at the Hotel Morgana. The staff were absolutely brilliant, polite, courteous, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them all. The food for breakfast was second to none. We have stayed in many city hotels and this outshone them all. It is very centrally located. The main Termini...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
