Being partial to Holiday Inns, for our first trip to Rome, we stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Its only 12 minutes from the airport and about 25 minutes from the Colosseum and major sites. The staff was very friendly, the hotel clean and a very nice pool, lounge area. The rate was reasonable. We’d definitely stay here again and I would recommend it. They have a nice shuttle to the airport as well.

Room. Clean with 2 double beds. Comfortable and a good sleep. There is no mini-bar or fridge in the room. Telephone keys to hotels services did not work. Had to use one in the bathroom. Reception called me back but I could not hear them on bedroom phone. Bathroom. Tired but clean and plenty of towel for 2 adults 2 kids. I reported a leak to reception when I could not get into room as card would not work. The leak was directly over the loo pan. The receptionist ‘Giogio’ TOTALLY ignored me. Reset my door card and slapped the card onto counter and walked away. I walked away but stopped and told him simple manners don’t cost anything. Breakfast. Is good with some hot options. 2 coffee machines and both out of coffee beans. Took 15 minutes to refill and after the wait the coffee was awful. Staff not at all interested. Pool. Was really nice as temperatures was around 35 Celsius. Pool bar closed, very disappointing. Hotel. Great location. Can buy train tickets at reception. 1.50 Euro to Colosseum. Kids under certain age are free. Station is 10 mins walk. Google maps is very accurate for this. Parking is free. Check in and out was by efficient. Thank you. A special thank you to Sarah at Reception. Our daughter (aged 10) had not been well all night. I told Sarah she had been ill and not able to keep food down. Sarah said we could check out late and gave some very good advice what she could eat to help keep food down. It worked wonderfully. Overall. I have stayed at this hotel as a Spire Elite member on business in the past. It’s been approx 2 years since I was last at this hotel. It’s a good hotel for location, close to airport and city. Hotel is in a business area therefore local restaurants are a taxi ride away but not far. Hotel Restaurant food is good. No supermarkets nearby so please take extra water, snacks with you. I have had mixed experience with staff. Some are just amazing and go all out to look after you. Some just the complete opposite. Overall, I do recommend this hotel. Just some staff need to accept they work in the HOSPITALITY trade. I hope my review is helpful.

Dear whokickmydog, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are pleased that you liked our hotel but extremely concerned about your comment on our hotel team. We carefully pick each of our team members based on their friendliness, helpfulness and general customer care skills, as a result we often receive outstanding feedback - it really is our primary objective. It is most disappointing to read you received a less than satisfactory level of service from our staff. We can assure you that your experience is not indicative of our usual high standards when it comes to service. Nevertheless, we have taken note of your comments and have shared these with our management team to ensure that this issue is addressed accordingly. Thank you for the nice comments on the pool and the restaurant. Despite your disappointment we do hope you will return to stay with us again at some future date when you can be assured of our very best attention. With kind regards, Roberta S. Assistant to the General Manager & Guest Relations Manager

The hotel offers a free shuttle from the airport towards to the hotel. The lobby is huge and impressive. I have comment on checking in as the queue is long and you really need to wait for your turn. I would recommend that they need to open a new counter for IHG loyal member as priority for their continuous support. It will be helpful. The receptionist are nice people and do their job properly. Attends to your needs and request. They are service oriented. The room size is big and beds & pillows are good and comfortable. The only cons that i comment so far is far from the city and there’s no other restaurant nearby aside from the Pizza place that opens at night only. The metro is about 8 minutes walk from the hotel but good location if you are on business and visiting Technip FMC as they are just beside the hotel. I would like to comment on the old man with glasses working at the snack bar wherein I’m offended when Im about to order a pizza he just gave a finger gesture that is really rude to wait but never ever talk and don’t even attend afterwards. He can say I’m sorry I need to work on something else and my colleague will assist you but rather a finger gesture that i feels is really rude. Aside from this fellow is another guy in the morning wherein they are working on the main door and uses a finger gesture and it’s easy if they can use their mouth not fingers which is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, I would recommend still this hotel maybe the Management may educate those two guys properly on being in a service oriented-business. By the way, Im a Spire Elite Member and this should not happen to any guest at all. Overall, I highly recommend to stay everyone on this hotel. Hotel receptionist are very welcoming and helpful on your visit.

We stayed in the hotel for five days. Found out it is far from Rome. We tried to cancel half our stay but were told it is not allow in their policy. The taxi ride to Rome average from €30-40 euros one way. They have a shuttle that will take you to metro for €10 each passenger and hotel gives you ticket to get in the subway metro. The room is clean and nice and bed is very comfortable. Shower is not as good, couldn’t adjust water from hot to cold easily. The morning breakfast buffet is great. Coffee can be improve but everything else is very good. The restaurant hostess Is very nice and greeted us by our name. Very good bar service that served sandwiches Incase you missed dinner. All in all,a good place except for the distance to downtown Rome.

The staff are not prepared. They are, in general, not polite, even if you just need to clarify some doubt or have information about the places around. The food in the restaurante is good but with no too many options. The drink is very é expensive, a small coke 5€. The brekfast is ok. ot water in the shower normally are very little. In my last day, NO hot water at all to shower and when I called to front desk, the worker only told me that "this is not possible, there are hot water in the main floor". When I went down to check out, other people were also complaining about the hot water. Don't lose your time, don't loose your money, don't stay there if you have any other option.
