This hotel needs a complete refurbishment. A hole in the bathtub, a broken door frame, a ripped carpet (and so on) are simply not acceptable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but of course they can't do miracles and change the state of maintenance of the hotel which is simply terribly poor.

Staff and service: I called this hotel before booking it. I asked them about the distance from city and the mode of transport to the city. At first a receptionist said they had Shuttle service to the city every morning. I was happy about it. And still was doubtful. Couple of days later I called them again, and asked. They said they have shuttle service to the nearest Station, Cornelia for every 10 mins. So I booked the hotel. Upon arrival, I saw that Cornelia is closed for the last 1 month. And the shuttle service was from Battistini which was very far from the hotel and not in the direction of the City. Also, the shuttle was just twice a day. One to and fro in the morning. One to and fro in the evening, around 6:00. Whole point in staying at this hotel got cancelled. I was already unhappy with all this and when I wanted to plan for an outing, I saw that the WiFi did not work. Speed was so slow it couldn’t load the App Store or the browser page. When I called up the reception to ask about WiFi, they said, “why do you need fast WiFi. To check emails and messages, This speed should enough”. I cut the call immediately and used my own internet, booked a different hotel immediately and checked out. During check out the receptionist said cheekily, “I can give you a different password if you want High speed”. Wow. I can imagine the service. Room and comfort: The room was cramped and dirty. The Bidet in the bathroom was broken. The kettle was just tilting from its position. It was as if they didn’t care about anything. Value: With such service, they should probably start a B&B service, not a Hotel. Room Cleanliness: The bedsheet was smelly and Bathroom bidet was broken and couldn’t use it. Sleep Quality: I checked out within 30 minutes of check in. Thank god I didn’t not have to sleep in this gutter. Atmosphere and Ambience: Negativity around. The hotel was so empty and dull that I felt too nervous in this place. I didn’t find anyone except the Receptionist and a few Booking agents, god knows what they were planning. They definitely did not look like people staying there. Helped me achieve the goals: Yes. Definitely. I will stop using Holiday Inn hotels for any future stays. And this hotel made me achieve this goal. Thank you.

The older hotel itself is ok. Room was standard and the bed was good, Breakfast was good too. The information of the check inn employé was insufficient. It was hard to get the needed information about public transport. Once wanted to use there shuttle to the metro. This shuttle runs only certain times. The use of the public bus is easy, more flexible and it safes money. The bus and metro is included in the ticked. After two days Flavia was at the front desk and she was so kind to gave me the necessary information for traveling with public transportation. After booking I sent three times an e-mail to get detailed information about the shuttle to metro. No response at al.

My party stayed here for two nights. We were looking for an inexpensive hotel, so you get what you pay for. The hotel is a bit dated. The food was ok. My husband and I ordered pizza & fettuccine alfredo & 2 sodas. The food was a little pricey 33 euros, but it’s expected for a hotel in Europe.

We stayed here courtesy of Alitalia due to a strike in the public transports and airport. As we arrived quite late, there was dinner waiting for us in a dining room separately from the other hotel residents. This is a good move as when one dines would find it unpleasant to face the noise and rush of 50 people. We were told that we could order drinks and pizza at a charge. When several people wanted to order wine they were rudely denied by the waitress . I am not sure if it is a matter of language barrier . However the next morning when we missed breakfast another waiter took us in to the main sitting area where breakfast was still being served. So I cannot hold a grudge for the service The rooms were clean and not so small for European standards. The shower had lots of nice hot water. On the negative side the air condition did not work and had to leave our window open even though it was raining. overall it is a satisfactory hotel. MacDonalds is adjacent
