Checking was very easy - they had our room and in spite of arriving late (about 8PM) they were able to get us checked in quickly. The staff is very friendly, and although I did not pre-pay the breakfast buffet the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were very clean, and the bathrooms are quite spacious by European standards. Great location, quiet and friendly. Near excellent public transportation. Exceptionally helpful concierge staff and generous buffet breakfasts. Loved the Old World European feel of this hotel. Would definitely return.

The atlante garden hotel has very good location in Rome. About 5minutes to Vatican, 5minutes to sightseeing buses stop and else objects near. Rooms are dark, but service is very good. Lobby bar making a good coffee. And finally the best of our holidays in this hotel was the breakfasts, so good, so tasty :)

I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions and I've enjoyed staying there due to the location of the hotel and friendly attentive staff. Everything is close by, from tram line, bus stop to the Metro station being a street away. Breakfast is served from 7am until 10am. The receptionist remembered me from my previous trip three years ago!!... More

Following a 5 night stay, I could not fault the staff or the hotel, very friendly, helpful & courteous staff and very clean hotel. Central to shops, attractions and public transport. Would recommend to family and friends.

Myself and my partner, stayed for 4 nights. Wonderful and friendly hotel staff. The location is perfect for the Vatican, only 5 minutes walk, and also to Restaurants and bars. The breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of hot and cold food. I would recommend this hotel.

The Atlante Garden Hotel is pretty centre to everything in Rome - we were a 10 minute walk from the Vatican, and close to a lot of decent restaurants. It also had amazing, luxurious accommodation making for an incredibly pleasant stay.

The location is great for the Vatican City and the metro line. The hotel is average- rooms dark and something about the bedding triggered my allergies! Good variety at breakfast- more than other Italian hotels I've stayed in. Minimal interaction with staff so can't comment on that.

Hotel was in a very good location, close to the Vatican and within easy walking distance to all the other sites. The hotel itself is not a 4 star and is very dated. Room was ok but very dark, bathroom needed an overhaul. As another reviewer has said when we asked about the bar we were told to use the... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Atlante Garden Hotel via a VJV holiday package. It purports to be four-star standard, which it probably was - in 1970! Their website states: ‘within this luxury 4 Star accommodation in Rome our highly trained staff are on hand 24 hours a day to ensure your every requirement is met while a... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
