We arrived to be greeted by a man who looked very unprofessional. Room was basic, no tea or coffee making facilities, but clean. Was given no info on arrival, ie breakfast times, check out times etc. Found a lift to breakfast to find out it was shut, asked at reception and was given a voucher to use at a cafe over a busy road, which consisted of hot drink, orange juice and a pastry. No great choice like advertised on their site and not ideal having to leave the hotel for breakfast anyway. We found no bar or restaurant open in the hotel, again wasn't informed of these before we left and a part of the reason we booked was to have the option to eat within the hotel. The hotel was clean and tidy and placed close enough to the main tourist sights, but disappointed on the lack of update information given.…
Stayed at this hotel as our original got cancelled due to covid but was told it was 4* and same as original booking definitely not . Was told no bar or restaurant open had a voucher for a cafe across the road which consists of 1 coffee 1 orange juice and a croissant. To then be told following morning it was closed so had a pack up breakfast it was OK. There are no tea and coffee making facilities and the air conditioning does not work we asked for it to be looked at but he came and said it was working it really wasn't. Great location for what we wanted but in my opinion the area it is in is very dirty not clean streets only bonus is the metro is 10 minute walk museum the same
After reading the reviews for this Hotel we didn't know what to expect. We were visiting for the Rugby and the Hotel was just what we were looking for, clean room, fresh towels every day, friendly staff, good selection at breakfast. We did not encounter noisy neighbours in fact we had the windows open all weekend and were surprised at how little noise there was. My only little suggestion would be tea and coffee in the room but the fridge was a bonus. We would definitely stay again.
Me and my partner have just returned from a 5 night stay at the nova domus, not our choice as booked through an agent. Pros: -Very clean rooms, which can be made up every single day. -Powerful shower -Good breakfast selection. -All staff were very helpful and friendly. -10 mins walk from the Vatican city -10 mins walk to the metro station -High speed Wi-Fi! Good for downloading the film for flight home :) -Safe located in the room Cons: -walls may as well be made of tissue paper as you can hear every single noise in the corridor and the rooms next door. -Popular with school trips, children running through the corridors at all hours, so dont expect a good nights sleep. -States there is a bar, do not go looking for anything special. There is not bar but table service in the lifeless restaurant/breakfast area. -Beds quite hard but I suppose that's down to personal preference. All in all not a bad hotel and served it purpose. The lack of sleep didn't help our moods after walking miles around the city each day.…
We arrived at the hotel and greeting from reception was lovely, they also went through the map of Rome and informed us about the Metro (which absolutely saved us!) I’m not a moaner and have stayed in 2 star hostels but unfortunately I wouldn’t say this hotel was a 4 star :( the bed was comfy and rooms adequate...fresh towels ect but the bathroom was very run down and our toilet seat was barely hanging on. Also, for a 4 star it would have been nice to have some tea/coffee facilities in the room. I noticed that the hotel also stated it had sound proof rooms? We heard absolutely everything that was going on outside throughout the night.... Don’t get me wrong, the hotel is nice, the staff are lovely and the rooms are simple but good... breakfast is also lovely :)! Definately use the metro! We paid €18 each for a 3 day pass and even with using the metro we walked 27k steps on our first day! Also, ignore people that tell you Rome is ridiculously expensive. It isn’t :)…
