A family member and myself stayed at this hotel and was my first time visiting Rome. The hotel was right by everything we wanted to visit, about 5 minute walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum was opposite us and about a 20minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The room we had was clean and comfortable, it’s not a... More

My son and I made reservations for Mothers Day weekend. My reservation was unchangeable so when we had an extra person join us we had to ask for roll bed or a different room, paying the difference of course! They had no roll away bed at the facility (that tells you something) advised a bigger room to accommodate 3 people... More

This was mine and my partners first visit to Rome and we both thought it was amazing. The hotel is smack in the middle of everything. Yes the main entrance to the hotel is up a side street but didn't have a problem finding it. We stayed in the part of the hotel near the restaurants and have to say... More

For the price I wasn't expecting a 5star hotel however I was expecting it to look vaguely like the pictures. Upon arrival no-one told us that the entrance is no longer where the address on the website shows, instead you have to go round the corner for the entrance. We were in a separate part of the hotel on the... More

Me and a friend booked this hotel through last minute.com and were disappointed when we arrived to find that the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. We were shown to our room which we simply thought would be inside the hotel building, however we were taken outside and told our room was outside up a steep staircase which looked like... More

Very good hotel and the breakfast was really good too! In such a good spot for the colloseum and other places! The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Only downside was the damp smell in the room.

Hotel de Rome is literally a hidden gem so close to the Coloseum. After checking in at the main lobby you are led round to another door. The room was delightful with an upstairs mezzanine bath! Fabulous decor. Breakfast was at the Spanish restaurant below, with a choice of items from the menu . We selected bread and ham, the... More

Fabulous place. Best choice of restaurants right in front of the hotel. Weather was spectacular for November. Showers left a little to be desired. Room was clean. Loved breakfast on the roof terrace! We visited Villa D'este up in Tivolli. Can highly recommend a day trip out of the city.....
