Rooms are very small just be aware. However that being said you have everything you need! Mini fridge, nice sized shower, close proximity to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. Literally steps. We walked to the Vatican and the colosseum from here. So many delicious restaurants in this area. Great shopping as well. Hotel Staff is so nice and accommodating. This is a great cozy location to explore Rome!! We would book again!

I chose this hotel because of location and the two bedroom apartment/suite they offered. I stayed here with my husband and MIL, so we needed two rooms; this was a less expensive option than two separate hotel rooms and was nice because it gave us a common space to hang out in. The apartment is HUGE, but set-up railroad style where you have to walk through each room to get to the next. You walk into a very large living area (with pull out sofa, that we did not need), then through a large bathroom area with jetted tub and separate area with toilet, vanity and shower, then into bedroom #1, then into a sort of entryway area with closet and the second bathroom which is connected to room #2. The bedrooms are very large, each set up for us with king size beds. The showers in both bathrooms were very spacious. The water was complimentary, which was very nice, as you often have to pay for water in Europe. The location was excellent for sightseeing - right between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. There was an excellent coffee spot just around the corner as well - Sant Eustachio's. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast, instead just stopped for coffee and a croissant each morning. It is in a busy area, though on a more quiet side street. The windows are double pane and noise was not an issue for us at all. The AC worked well. If you're a large family or traveling with another couple, I would highly recommend this apartment/suite.

We selected the Family Deluxe Suite for the two of us and our young daughter. Although there aren’t pictures of this particular room online, this is perfect for families traveling together and the description was all factually accurate. The suite is actually five rooms connected in a row, with 2 complete bathrooms with showers. It additionally had a large jacuzzi tub. The room is accessed on the first floor above ground floor, and has an elevator access to the first floor landing if needed. (The hotel reception is located on the second floor). We found the room private, quiet, clean, and very spacious. This is an excellent choice for kids that need space to roam. The large dining table and full sized fold out couch in the main room made a nice living area away from sleeping rooms. This suite is more of an apartment than a room. The mattresses were firm foam with plenty of pillow options. We are not typically fans of firm mattresses, but these slept very comfortably and were nice quality. The windows included shutters to block out lights from the 2 relatively quiet back streets that the room faced. Breakfast was of good quality with fresh cut fruit, hot eggs/bacon/sausage, and plenty of carbohydrate choices. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and spoke fantastic English. Most importantly, this central location is ideal.

We really enjoyed our stay here!

It's perfectly located just a short walk from all the major attractions and great restaurants (you're only 5 minutes from the Pantheon).

The room was small but very comfortable, with a large bed, wardrobe for hanging clothes and a bathroom with shower, toilet & bidet. It was clean and the cleaners kept it tidy every day with fresh towels whenever we needed them. We also had the breakfast included which was a basic but nice continental-style buffet.

Special mention to Michele at the reception desk - he was so helpful and friendly, and had great knowledge of the local area! We'd definitely stay here again.

We had an unfortunate experience in trying to get a refund on our rooms after having to cancel our trip to Italy. In June when we went on the Hotel Navona's website to book rooms for three couples, unbeknownst to us we were directed to an "agent." We paid for three rooms for two nights with a credit card still believing that the reservations were made directly to the hotel. The virus escalated in the U.S. and italy, and we decided on 8/11/21 to not travel there. When contacting the hotel, it was the first time we were aware of it being booked with an agent called Agoda.com, who turned it over to getaroom.com. The credit card holder never received a confirmation of the booking, therefore we did not have a reservation number to refer to the hotel. After many emails back and forth to the hotel, we were told they could not refund the money but would grant us one night per couple. Of course, this is unacceptable because we have no idea when if ever we will go to Italy. I would caution travelers to always call directly to the hotel for a reservation and make sure it is not booked by a bogus agent. And I believe the hotel has an obligation to check into these so-called agents so as not to ruin their reputation.

The location is really centrale and the employees are nice. But some points have to be know before booking : no insonorisation so we hear everything (the neighbor taking its shower, the receptionist, people that past by on the corridor, ...). Also, rooms are really small (my bed was taking the 3/4 of the room) and a bit humid, the breakfast is quite basic (the minimum asked). So to sum up, nice location but the living experience might be better.

We are 2 couples who spent 3 nights at Hotel Navona on October. We reserved 2 superior double rooms including breakfast, online directly through the hotel. We arrived at 11:00 am, way before check in time. Nevertheless, we were told we could have our rooms as soon as they are ready, which was within an hour.
Throughout our stay, the reception and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and worked very hard to insure a pleasant stay. Michel gave us 2 restaurant recommendations which were spot on. Angelo was constantly calling taxis for guests and carrying bags up to the rooms. He gladly helped me with a tech issue I had when trying to check in for our flight and gave us shopping area recommendations.

The breakfast room is small, but big enough. The food buffet was good and hot beverages were served. The rooms, 311 and 314, were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The lighting and bathroom fixtures were good and up-to-date. There were 2 complimentary bottles of water in the mini fridge and an electric kettle to make tea or instant coffee.

I’d offer a few minor suggestions for improvement. Our room had bedside lamps, our friends’ room didn’t. We thought this should be consistent from room to room. It would be great if the rather expansive empty wall opposite the bed could be utilized, maybe with a few hooks or another table. While we were able to request more water, tea, coffee or clean cups, this was not automatically replenished everyday. Be aware there are no tissues or facecloth provided, but I believe this is normal in Italy.

Overall, we were very comfortable and happy to recommend Hotel Navona for its staff and close location to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and hundreds of restaurants.

My friends and I had a great stay here. The location could not be more perfect. Everything worth seeing in Rome is a walkable distance from here. The furthest away being the Vatican which was a 30min walk. We didn't use public transport at all for our trip.
The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Always so friendly and helpful. Hotel was so clean. Rooms cleaned each day with fresh towels and even slippers! The shower was so nice and there was shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and a hairdryer all provided.

The only downfall was the noise from the streets at night. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. It still wouldn't deter me from recommending the hotel.

This hotel is literally central to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING you could possible want to see and visit while in Rome. Aside from the location, the room was small, but well appointed, amazing shower, comfortable bed, great view, icy cold air conditioner (which is very nice considering it was close to 100-degrees F) and friendly front desk staff. We enjoyed the caffe downstairs every morning for coffee and sometimes in the evenings for a drink before bed. Piazza Navona was very close, which offered so many restaurant, drink and gelato options. The bakery across the street had warm, fresh from the oven, amazing pastries and later on in the day, Roman pizza. We arrived at the hotel at 9AM and unable to check in, the front desk held our luggage for us while we took in some sights. Came back just before noon and they had our room ready to go. Stayed 4 nights and it was perfect! Would definitely recommend!!

DISHONEST MANAGEMENT! Checked out and accidentally left money belts with cash inside locked in the safe in our hotel room. Numerous emails to the hotel were ignored. I got my booking agency to contact them on my behalf, and the hotel manager told them that the cleaning staff found nothing in the room. Since my money was locked inside the safe in the room, I assumed that cleaning staff did not have access to the safe and that only management would be able to open it. If that wasn't the case, then cleaning staff would have access to the safe at any time during a guest's stay, so nothing would really be secure. I was given the specific name of a manager at the hotel to contact to resolve the matter, and he also ignored my emails. Whoever opened the safe kept my money. Ironically, we left our luggage with them for a few hours until our train left. When we went back to retrieve it, management could have informed us then that they had found our money, if they were honest. As far as the hotel itself, it is mediocre at best. The only thing it has going for it is the location. Keep your valuables safe and stay elsewhere.

We stayed in 3 different rooms during our stay at Hotel Navona and none of them had great views. The hotel is right on a busy street so there are only street views or views of an inside courtyard (nothing special). The rooms and breakfast are decent, though. And the location is great!
