Perfect location, close to all tourist attractions by walk and despite being close to busy street, it's quiet inside, you can't hear city noise at night. Clean, little hotel, I wouldn't hesitate to come back when visiting Rome. Staff is amazing, extremely helpful. Everything was perfect.

This hotel is perfectly positioned to see the city of Rome. The staff who work in the hotel are excellent, so welcoming and helpful they make this hotel what it is. We stayed in a small room, it was enough but if you like a little more space you might want to go for one of the bigger rooms. Our bathroom did have a wee bit off a smell but it wasn't overpowering I think it lacked ventilation. I had asked for a twin, quiet room and they hotel honoured that for me, although we were on the 2nd floor so on the 3rd night obviously someone moved in above us and they were really heavy footed, not the hotels fault though and it didn't bother me too much. The beds were comfy and you can choose your pillows if you want too. The room had a kettle, fridge, air conditioning and everything you need for your stay. We had breakfast included and it had a variety or things to eat something for everyone I would say. They have a small bar and you get a welcome drink on arrival which is a really nice touch, we were going to miss breakfast our first morning there so they arranged a breakfast bag for us to have before our trip. The hotel is down a side street and although it might look a bit sketchy I assure you we had no problems with anything or anyone. The hotel offer a number of free walking trips which unfortunately we did not have time to use but worth looking at. The termini is only about 5 mins from the hotel and taxis can be ordered by the hotel to take you anywhere you need and they arrive within a few mins all fairly cheap. All in all I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return here should I visit Rome again. Its not a 5 star joint and has a few wee flaws but for the price, what you get and where it is located its worth 5 stars to me. Thank you to the reception team and others who made our stay really enjoyable.

My family and I stayed at Britannia Rome for 4 days and we loved it! The location is less than 15 minutes (by walking) to the train station with many restaurants near by. The attractions (Trevi foundation & the Colosseum) were close by so it was amazing. But the staff made all the difference in our stay! From the moment we checked in, the reception desk were so attentive and kind and all the staff at breakfast were also so nice! No complaints at all, would stay here again when I visit Rome!

I gave three stars only because it’s not a 4* star hotel. I don’t know how they got 4* but it’s far from it. The hotel is very dull and dated. There is no robes in the room, however, they do provide slippers. In the morning, when lots of people are using the shower, the water is lukewarm. Also, the shower was overflowing. The breakfast was average. There’s not much selection and it was not the best quality as you would commonly expect at a 4* hotel. I would like to mention that the staff were welcoming and provided a more pleasant experience disregarding the previous complains i made.

Dear guest, first of all we would like to thank you for choosing Hotel Britannia and even more for taking your time to share your feedback with us. Every type of review is helpful to enhance our service and guest experience allowing us to better understand the source of the problems you may have encountered. We are concerned to hear of your dissatisfaction regarding the rooms amenities and our breakfast we are sorry to hear that it has not met your expectations. It is always disappointing when we do not live up to the high expectations we have set for the hotel and ourselves. Our entire staff loves taking care of all our guests. We do hope you will give us a second chance in the future in order to fully enjoy the wonders of the Eternal City. Best Regards Hotel Britannia Staff

Arrived late after flight delay and reception couldn't have been more helpful. Had a lovely room, such comfy beds and pillows. Really nice breakfast, lots of fresh fruits and pastries, continental and hot option and the best coffee! Welcome drink was appreciated and a nice touch. We found all staff to be very friendly and genuinely enjoying their job. Had to leave early and was given a breakfast bag to go which was perfect so early in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of out stay and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when we return to Rome which we hope won't be too long.

During our holidays in Rome, we stayed at The Britannia Hotel and it was a comfortable, good & well-located hotel, except for our room-terrasse which was not clean and we were quite annoyed about it. However, we are grateful to Ms. Shika who assisted us throughout and made sure we could enjoy our holidays well :) Breakfast was also decent and the staff were welcoming too. We recommend future travelers to stay at your hotel if they are visiting Rome.

Our stay was very pleasant. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We got a complimentary upgrade as it was my wife’s birthday. Our room was very nice with an outdoor terrace. If you like to walk and explore, this hotel is close to all the major attractions. My wife and I walked to all multiple times with no issues. Great stay!!

Fantastic stay. The staff in the reception are amazingly sweet and helpful. The hotel in it self is an old building and that shows a bit in some.minor areas, but not in a way that makes the stay less enjoyable. The cleaning of the room could have been better, but nothing to make a fuss about. All in all, a very good stay, and a hotel I would come back to without a doubt if I go to Rome again.
