About
Description
The Domus Via Veneto is a small but luxurious guest house located in a historic palace a few steps away from one of the most famous streets of Rome, Via Veneto, immortalized by Federico Fellini in “La Dolce More Vita”. The Domus is central but in a quiet location. It has five rooms, each one dedicated to a great Italian painter, a tribute to those who made Italy the favorite destination of cultural tourism and as an invitation to know better that great city museum called Rome. models while bored housewives hung out in streetside
cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the
cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to
five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law
firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to

Domus Via Veneto is located across a side street from the American Embassy. It’s a great location for seeing the city. A taxi stand is a block away on Via Veneto, several rental car agencies (Europcar, Avis, Hertz and Budget) are two blocks away. There is a Metro stop at piazza B

My husband and I arrived late in the evening at Domus Via Veneto and they assisted us to get settled. We enjoyed 5 nights in this quiet accommodation up near Villa Borgese park. The management was very helpful with restaurant tips and what to see in Rome. We enjoyed our stay and

From what my girlfriend and I gathered it is a little family run hotel. It is located just up the road from the Spanish steps, next to a police station and a small supermarket, so super safe and good for getting reasonably priced water. Although odd having to get a little lift up

This year we were upgraded to the Michaelangelo room which was very quiet. The room was very nice and the bathroom was small but functional. The only issue was the breakfast was not as good as last year... especially the coffee. Only recommendation for them would be to have a cof

As an older couple, I have concerns about the lift and stairs. Was the lift running well and large enough for luggage as well as 2 people?
It was a small lift but you could go up one at a time or one go up, then send the luggage up, then the second person go up.

We are an older couple, is the lift dependable and big enough for us and luggage?
How long a walk is it to the Piazza del Poppolo?
Dear Karen, We are only 15 minutes walking far from Piazza del Popolo. You can walk through Piazza di Spagna, see via del Corso, and arrive direclty to Piazza del Popolo. For any further question, I will be at your complete disposal. Gianluca Pulcinelli
