Only stayed here one night, but facilities were ideal. Admittedly the rooms were rather tired looking, but the beds and towels were clean, the bathroom was a decent size, the water was hot and there was a small entrance hallway. It was helpful to have secure parking which cost 5 euros. The only real issue was the quality of the... More

The location is pretty well, just 10 mintues from Vatical by walking. I liked the internet - it worked quickly. The rooms are not luxurious, but when knowing the price it was tidy and nice to get back from long day. As we were back in a hotel late evening all the time, so it was not the main priority... More

I spent 3 nights there and had breakfast about 10 which was nice. The single bed wouldn't fit a big person--- But the room had the basic amenities including a balcony with a view on the sky. What I found particularly nice was the welcome (Chiara who spoke French because my Italian was rusty) and the rest of them spoke English.... More

This hotel sucks!!! Our flight was at 5 am and there was no one at the reception. They have our passport. Plus the room looks like a haunted house. We missed our flight damn. And there was someone that you could call for emergency but he doesn't know anything. He doesn't speak in English also.

Well, if you are used to big cities and other hotels, the Domus Aurelia will fall in the Boarding House Category. You won't even notice it from the outside that even Taxi drivers wasn't aware of it (we are dropped on the nearby Pastor's Hotel and the fellow in the receptions said that and I quote "Taxi brought you here... Located within a short 10 minute walk of the Vatican and on bus route 46 that gets you into the city centre without much effort! The staff are super friendly and there is a basic breakfast to get you started in the morning. Great value for money and a comfortable, clean place to lay your head at the end of... More

Situated 10 minutes walk from Vatican, this hotel is a great start for the Rome exploring tour. The rooms are very basic, bus stop is just across the street (lines 46 and 49), it offers parking (limited space, reserve in advance, the price of €5 a day is great), wifi in the rooms, and a breakfast. The staff is very... More

The hotel room was spartan but clean and beds comfortable. The staff were extremely cordial and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and the lady at the bar chatty and kind. We also made use of the free facility to leave luggage at the hotel after checkout on our last day and had no problems.

Poor breakfast options, no wifi option in the rooms, only at the lobby. It's very complicated to get to the nearest metro station, we got lost a couple of times trying to take the metro, if you're going to stay in this hotel, make sure you undestand a 100% how to get there cuz it's tricky and easy to get...
