This was a lovely place to stay while exploring Rome. It was less than 5 minutes from the train station. ~We spent 3 nights here in September 2016. Our room was lovely, and spotlessly clean. All staff were really friendly and welcoming, and all spoke very good English.

I stayed with my partner in June at Regio. The room was spacious, modern television and the usual amenities. The location was absolutely perfect, as you can get a transfer coach (any company) from practically outside the hotel (just a minute up the street, so you don't suffer the traffic but you still get the convenience and peace of mind... Clean hotel, great location by Termini railway station. Good continental breakfast. Lots of places could be reached by foot. Internet connection was a little bit annoying, too slow. Wi-Fi available only in the ground floor foyer.

Used this hotel for our 4 night sight seeing stay in Rome during interrailing. Location- Well located for us as it was a 2 min walk from Termini railway station. Very easy to get the metro to the colosseum, Vatican City and Trevi Fountain etc. Surrounding area has some cheap restaurants and cafes but if looking for nice shops and... More

Went with our family and booked 3 rooms. The air-conditioning in all the rooms were not working. Despite many requests for them to check nothing was done. Breakfast at the hotel was not great. There was wifi available in the lobby only which kept dropping, making it impossible to use. The water in the shower kept varying between extreme heat... More

The hotel was clean and staff was welcoming. Location is a big plus as it is in walking distance to Termini train station as well as the adjacent Metro and bus stops. Breakfast is more on the two star side, but there are plenty of options in the area.

Location is good and I think the personnel (in reception and breakfast room) really did their best. Room and hotel overall was clean and breakfast more or less sufficient, albeit there was easily a queue for the coffee machine and tableware often ran out (knives). WiFi worked in the lobby and there was a machine where you could buy refreshments... More

We went on a trip with 40 students and 5 adults, overall we was scared of how the rooms was going to be as hearing bad reviews. We received a 4 person room, however we had 2 students who wants to join. Moving a mattress into the room onto the floor. So we had 6 people staying in a 4... More

We visited the hotel with my wife on October 2014. The hotel stands near the main train station and next to mini markets, pizzerias and delicatessen shops. It is in close distance to all public transport. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful as it should be based on the Italian culture. I would suggest... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
