This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. It's a quiet hotel next to the Pantheon. Charming interior, and I asked for a small suite so that my nephew could join me and stay on the couch/ bed downstairs. Lovely arches, frescos etc in...More
Beautifully furnished elegantly restored hotel, delicious and generous breakfast buffet, and good service. Location is right on the Square at the Pantheon which is always a busy place. Needed earplugs at night and it was fine. We enjoyed being in the heart of things. Beds...More
A great location with great cafes and restaurants galore. The whole world walks thru the piazza and you are one of maybe 200 people surrounding the piazza with a ringside seat. A/C was important this past June and worked beautifully. Book this hotel and do...More

We stayed in the triple room which was actually on two levels. It was right by the breakfast room and had a sitting area in a twin bed on the main floor and then upstairs was a bed for two and the bathroom. The breakfast...More

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

I would recommend you request the Annex Building with a separate entrance. When we stayed there we had to 5floor, under the attick and 2nd floor Suites with a kitchen, corridor, large room and bathroom with a view on the Pantheon Square. The 5th floor floor has a Queen Size bed with two sofa beds, enough for 4 people with a child. Very nice European style rooms. It is better to call the hotel directly for any information on the rooms.
It is also advised to arrange a private service pick up from Fiumimicino International airport to the Pantheon Al Sole Hotel. The Front desk staff can arrange this for you and it cost 60 Euro and it takes about 30~40 minutes from the airport to the entrance of the Pantheon square. Cars are not allowed to drive on the square, the walk is only 2 minutes from the entrance. Travel with a suitcase that has wheels, most of the streets in Rome have stoned paved roads. The taxi cost a few euro less but it is worth to arrange the pickup service with the hotel to start your vacation without any delays and transportation issues especially if you are traveling with a child. Many restaurants on the square and side street, there is also a supermarket where you can buy excellent salami and other specialties.

I also thought the pictures were a little confusing. Our concern stemmed from a review on TripAdvisor - someone said they reserved a certain kind of room ( I can't remember exactly) and they were given a room in the interior with no window and were not happy. I think after some complaining, they were moved. In our case, we booked a junior suite and paid the lower amount that does not allow a refund. I was concerned that if we were not happy, we would have no recourse. After searching both websites extensively, I finally emailed and asked -I was told there were 2 junior suites and they could not tell me which one I had reserved ?!? That was worrisome but then I asked for pictures of the 2 junior suites- they sent those pictures and either looked fine. Having said all that, upon our arrival, we were given the junior suite that has the bed upstairs (room #110) and we were very happy. So, in conclusion, I think you should email (rather than calling so you have it in writing) and ask about all your concerns. The staff is really nice and helpful- I did not get the feeling anyone there is shady. Hope this helps.
