The Hotel Hassler is one of my favorite hotels ever. It is located at the top of the Spanish Steps and is an easy walk to everything. The room had a great view of the city and was large, beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. The service is impeccable. No matter what you need there is someone from the hotel who... More

Great location - right at the top of the Spanish steps, very convenient and easy walk to some of Rome's top spots. Make sure you try to get a room with a good view so you can take in the city beneath you - the view from the top floor is incredible! Overall very nice room, luxurious, and great service.

We paid a bit extra for a larger room. Our room was next to an enormous balcony with breathtaking views over Rome. We spent hours taking in the view from that balcony everyday and night. we loved the convenience, the service and the up scale old world luxury. would not go back to Rome and stay anywhere else.

My husband and I stayed. We had a beautifully decorated room on the 5th floor overlooking the Spanish steps with a beautiful view of the city, Perfect location, exceptional service and LOVED the toiletries. Top notch panoramic restaurant -- we sat next to Tony Bennett! A must stay in Rome.

This can be a great hotel but .....if you don't get a view of the city you may be better off somewhere else. This is my 3rd return trip and this visit we got allocated to a room with a view looking straight into the side of a building. (Also there is a childminding centre that is part of the... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for having chosen to stay once again at the Hassler for your third time. I am very sorry to know you may not be returning for a fourth visit. The Hassler on this visit to Rome was as perfect as our previous stay. Our room was just lovely, impeccable and beautifully furnished. The Concierge desk is top notch..... advising us on great restaurants, securing an outstanding private guide and early admission to the Sistine Chapel, etc. The location is, of course, perfect....steps away from the best shopping. Great location as we love to go down the Spanish Steps and walk around and visit stores and bistros. However, at the time of year we were at the Hassler, it was extremely hot. We wanted to opt to eat in their diningroom. They require a jacket for the gentleman. Frankly, it was packed in another suitcase and we didn't... More

Nearly every knowledgeable source I checked included Hotel Hassler on their short list of Rome's finest hotels, so our expectations were high. And so was the price. But the Hotel Hassler did not disappoint. For travelers wanting to stay in Rome's finest hotel near the Spanish Steps, look no further than the Hotel Hassler. The building itself is historically significant... More
