The location of this hotel is amazing. We were only in Rome for a short time. Being at the top of the Spanish steps was perfect. The hotel had fabulous service and style. The restaurant was AMAZING! The entire experience (including VIP airport service) was perfection.

We were thrilled with our stay at the Hotel Hassler in Rome. From the drivers they booked from the airport and back, to the very nice person who checked us in and showed us to our room to the staff at breakfast, everyone was warm, friendly and welcoming. The doormen always greeted us and the concierge was most helpful with suggestions and bookings. The small bar was cozy with a friendly bar tender. The ladies at breakfast were amazing. They were friendly, efficient and attentive. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The coffee was excellent and the breakfast area was gorgeous! Our room had a nice view, electric window blinds, comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and a walk-in closet! We had a wonderful marble bathroom, a walk-in shower and plenty of counter space. We were very comfortable and felt well taken care of. The Hotel Hassler was one of the best parts of our amazing trip to Rome. We would love to stay there again!…

The hotel is in the middle of everything, very quiet and the staff made everything we asked for happen. This is the only place to stay in Rome, Italy. The Hassler has the best staff and a Michelin Star Restaurant.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked through Amex Platinum Travel, and it is sometimes a gamble when booking online. You never know what you are going to get. What we got at the Hassler was an incredible experience. The rooms were very spacious and were the perfect refuge after a long flight and hours spent walking around Rome. The staff was incredibly helpful and no request was too trivial for them. They booked our museum tickets, our train tickets, and car transport to and from the airport. All the food was delicious. The location at the top of the Spanish steps made it all the more special. We loved it so much we stayed there twice on our trip. The hotel offers old world European decadence with modern and personal ammenities. Treat yourself and stay at the Hassler. We will return!…

We have stayed at the Hassler before, and returned in October after touring Sicily. It was wonderful to be in such a fine establishment where there is exquisite attention to detail. The concierge and check-in staff couldn't be more helpful; they always go out of their way to accommodate all requests. The food is also very good--the selection at breakfast is very nice, and the dinner menu is also good. Big Kudos to Jessica in the restaurant--she is attentive, always has a smile, and makes everyone feel at home. She also remembered us from previous visits, to the point that she remembered our tastes from past visits. She is a great asset to the hotel. The location is great as it is easy to walk to the shops and explore the city on foot. Highly recommend the hotel.

There were so many things we loved about this hotel. The location atop the Spanish Steps is simply stunning but also incredibly convenient to so much of what Rome has to offer. The hotel itself is elegant but also quite understated -- the discreet lobby doesn't invite gawkers and is in keeping with what appears to be a strong focus on guests rather than visitors to the bar or restaurant. The service at the Hassler is exceptional, unfailingly warm and helpful when needed, unobtrusive when not. The attentiveness of the staff gives the Hassler the feel of a small hotel, which I suppose it is, compared to others in its category. Our group stayed in deluxe and grand deluxe rooms -- though not exceptionally large, all were well-appointed, nicely decorated and very comfortable. I do wish there was a Nespresso or similar coffee machine -- I know, it's Rome, but I quite often like having a coffee while relaxing in my room. We had breakfast in the hotel everyday during our four-night stay and looked forward to it every morning -- the quality of the buffet offerings was very high and several people in our group commented that it was among the best hotel breakfasts we'd ever had. The hotel is stunning and our trip was unforgettable. Paolo at the concierge desk was a delight and so helpful. Went out of his way to assure all of our needs were met. Marianna, at the Hassler Bar, radiates joy and was so welcoming. We enjoyed our time at the Hassler Bar and looked forward to ending our night there due to her service !

Don’t miss the magnificent panoramic views from the terrace bar on the 7th floor— and know you will be treated with warmth, welcome and impeccable service by everyone at the Hassler. (We found the service at Hotel Russie far more pretentious, to be candid.) Our room had a door to a small patio, part of a larger deck/terrace without access, and was well-equipped and very comfortable. While we are not fans of black paint and dark hotel rooms… alas, there is not much about which to complain at the Hassler. We would never book anywhere else. Wonderful!
