We stayed at the Albergo del Senato for 3 nights in March 2017. The hotel is really nice and very clean. The staff made us feel at home and really helpful. The location is great for visiting Rome everything is within walking distance and a real nice square right outside to relax in.

I stayed here in March 2016 and just returned from another great stay at this hotel. The staff is fantastic! They are willing to make dinner reservations, plan tours, etc . You can not ask for a better location right next to the Pantheon and walkable to everything. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet including pastries, eggs, bacon, sliced meat and...

Cannot imagine a better location. Wonderful service from the front desk. We had 2 rooms. One looked over the square with the Pantheon and the other in the back. Both nice. Able to hear the sounds of the city, but it didn't keep us wake. Just added to the charm of the city.

The location cannot be beat. You are steps from everything. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is quite good. The staff makes the hotel. Every person was helpful, warm and kind. Their goal was to make your visit perfect and they succeeded.

We loved the location and had an amazing view of The Pantheon from our room. We had a great room and was very clean. The elevators are a bit slow so maybe consider that if you're wanting to stay on a high floor. Sometimes we would have to take the stairs because it was taking so long. The front desk...

I stayed at this hotel six years ago and again was delighted with everything about my stay. The location is perfect, not only its position in the square but also how close everything is. I walked everywhere from here, l didn't catch a train, bus or taxi I just walked. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast...

Really high quality hotel in superb location. The Pantheon is right outside! Very helpful staff, superb breakfast for non vegans (not so hot for Vegan options although the soya cappuccino was great) Very comfortable bed, clean, great view. I would definitely stay here again on further trips to Rome.

Excellent service, tidy (if a bit small) rooms and outstanding staff at every level. They were courteous and knowledgeable. Helped us decide on daily "to-see" list and my Italian is absent. We felt very spoiled to have lucked into this place. A special note about the bartender Michele (aka Michael ). Pours a great drink and has limitless stories. Please...

We loved the Albergo!! Imagine a 6 story grand hotel overlooking the best preserved temple from Antiquity on a beautiful Piazza in the heart of Rome's most historic district, with a great breakfast included - this and more is the wonderful Albergo del Senato. We splurged for the junior suite on the 6th floor and got a corner room with...

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
