With this being a top luxury hotel in Rome, my expectations were high, but also met. The view is amazing, offering views over rome which are priceless. The rooms were clean and nice, the receptionists were always friendly and the concierge helped us find a great restaurant with the best raviolis! (It's called Taverna Trilussa :) ) We had breakfast... More

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the last 2 nights of our vacation. Our first impression was that of grandeur and opulence. Our room was lovely, and very spacious. The bed was super comfortable, with amazingly soft linens, great bathroom amenities, and a lovely balcony. They turn down service was nice, with a pillow-top chocolate, and... More

This is a magical place. Super friendly staff, beautiful grounds and an amazing spa. I guarantee that once you visit you will want to return. The pool is gorgeous and requires at least a full day of relaxation time. Forget Rome - just visit here! I posted two photos that show the view from my room - it is superb.

We had the privilege to stay for one night in Rome after our cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived at 930am and of course our rooms were not ready. We dropped our bags and followed the Concierge advice and left Trastevere for the night. Took a taxi to Pantheon area and saw the sights (Spanish steps, Trevi fountain... More

Dating back to the late 60-ies Cavalieri Hilton on top of Monte Mario has become one of our most favorite premium class hotels word-wide. Upgraded to Waldorf Astoria Cavalieri Hilton today perhaps amongst the very best accommodations in Rome. Entering the foyer you ooze the homely warmth and ornate elegance, antique furniture, flower decorations, posh carpets, rugs, pictures and paitings... More

The service staff is outstanding. Way beyond normal expectations. They were truly fabulous...more than accommodating and helpful. First: if you want coffee in your room (e.g. coffee pot)...forget it. Not do-able. Have to go to the breakfast (25 Euro) or walk 10 minutes to get one. Second: if you are a points member (we were at Diamond) forget your status...won't... More

The overall experience was outstanding. We were greeted with smiles and extreme professionalism. My best friend and I were visiting Rome after a cruise and stayed one day before we returned home. A cab ride to the Vatican was about 5 minutes away and 8 euros. The hotel restaurant by the pool was absolutely delicious. The beds were comfortable and... More

My husband and I decided to book into the Rome Cavalieri for 2 nights to celebrate our first wedding anniversary...and I couldn't have been more delighted with this excellent hotel. We visit Rome every year and decided that we did not want to be in the centre of the action this time and opted for this hotel, due to its... More

The staff is lingering in little groups everywhere you look, watching you, and wishing you a great day. But be prepared for NONE of them able to make a decision or help out with any issue without consulting the "manager " first. How exhausting to be locked out of our room repeatedly with non functioning keys, denied the late check-out... More

As it was to be a very special occasion we decided to book this Hotel and selected a room with a Rome View. We wanted it to be a memorable occasion and therefore selected a room which had the best views of Rome. The Hotel itself was very ornate and quite ostentacious, very large and quite overwhelming on entering. The... More
