Overlooking the panorama that has inspired visitors for centuries is Rome's most prestigious address – the Rome Cavalieri hotel. Though only minutes from the city's great monuments, the Rome Cavalieri has the tranquility of an oasis. Enclosed in fifteen acres of lush Mediterranean parklands, this luxury hotel is a calm retreat in the heart of the Eternal City, an elegant refuge where time slows and hearts quicken. The first hotel in Europe to be part of the exclusive Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, the Rome Cavalieri hotel is more than just a 5–star property. It's the pre-eminent luxury hotel in Rome, with an art collection that outshines many museums, a Grand Spa that would be the envy of a prestige health resort, and standards of luxury that set it apart from other Rome hotels. The Rome Cavalieri brings new meaning to notions of Italian style, and new purpose to the fine art of exclusive hospitality.

Simply the best in Rome...away from the city lights but close enough to get there in no time. Service is truly exceptional and amenities are what you expect of a 5* hotel. Was lucky enough to get an upgrade with an outstanding view of the city. Pool areas and spa are

I have been at this hotel 10 years ago so I was wondering how it will be this time around. I wasn’t disappointed. Spacious room, nicely decorated, splendid views of the city and the Vatican. Staff were friendly and helpful without exception. This place is truly exceptional

This was our second stay at this property - brought the kids and spent a few days after our cruise. As usual, check in was first class - Hilton Diamond Members have a special desk and pesonalized service. The art work that is on the walls is worthy of any museum. The bar was

This was a very comfortable hotel with an amazing view of the city, including the Vatican (be sure to get a room with a city view). Our room had a nice big porch overlooking the city and pool area. The pool is beautiful and has a very large deck area. The hotel is also a museum

yes...AMAZING AMAZING child minding facilities! Your children will have a ball. I have never - in the entire world - seen anything so superbly set up for children. Perhaps book them into the child minding in advance, just in case places are limited - your children will really have a great time.

You have to check the hotel but if I remember it starts early am takes a break for a bit during the day and finishes around 8-9 at night. I’m sure it also depends on the season. The shuttle also only goes to the base of the Via Venetian and back. It’s the only stop

346Monica, Please find the shuttle schedule below. By the way, if you ask the driver, Maximilian, he will drop you off at a spot which will permit you to take a pleasant walk to the Vatican if you are in normal physical condition. Very easy and direct. I'm pleased to confirm you that our hotel does have a courtesy bus for our hotel guests and this is the timetable: from hotel: from Piazza Barberini: h8.30 h9.00 h9.30 h10.00 h10.30 h11.00 h11.30 h12.00 h12.30 h1.00p.m. h3.30p.m. h4.00p.m. h4.30p.m. h5.00p.m. h5.30p.m. h6.00p.m. h6.30p.m. h7.00p.m. h7.30p.m. h8.00p.m. h8.30p.m. h9.00p.m. Enjoy!

The shuttle leaves Cavalieri every hour on the half hour (8:30, 9:30, etc.,) but it stops running @ 12:30 pm and starts again at 3:30. It goes to the Piazza Barberini, which is walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Colesseum. We took the shuttle and walked to all those places. Colesseum is a bit further but still manageable. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get there so if picks up on top of every hour except for the 3 hour break. If you would rather not walk, there are a lot of hop on and hop off shuttles at the Piazza and you can book a ticket to travel around to all the sites as well. I wouldn't stay at the Waldorf again. Wasted a lot of money we could have spent closer to the sites and their customer service is terrible.
