These rooms, clean and cosy, is all you need while in Rome. Easy to find, very convenient, near the train and metro station, 10 min walk from the Colosseo. The owners, very helpful and kind, made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is served in a local bar with tasteful tramezzini and cornetti. Very good choice!

The hosts were friendly and helpful and were onsite some of the time. The rooms were clean but a little dated and dark as there was only one small window. However, Rome accommodation was very expensive when we booked and this was good value and met our needs. The breakfast is via a voucher to be redeemed at a local...

Civico 31 was excellent choice for our visit...safe, quiet area...easy 10-15 min walk from Roma Termini station or if you use metro less than 5 mins. Max is wonderful host, attentive and available! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good start to the days exploring. Definitely recommend staying here and would return!

Nicely located B&B with good prices and really nice people there. Clean, also AC worked very well. The only problem was with cleaning, it took too much time, and often when we were back it was not finished, otherwise excellent budget place.

A beautiful quirky room with cool decorations and good air con. We stayed for one night before leaving Rome and it was perfect for seeing all the sights and getting to the station the next day. Max was the perfect host and communication before we arrived was fantastic.

This B&B is perfect, everything you need for your break in Rome. Extremely close to Termni and the Metro, so excellent for getting transfers and into the city centre. The hosts Max and Giuseppe are perfect and couldn't do enough for you. We walked from the B&B into the centre almost every day as its really close. The breakfast at...

Wonderful B&B,we checked in early and Guiseppi stored all our cases until our rooms were ready at 2pm while we went off to get some lunch. When we came back we were very impressed by how nice the rooms were decorated and how clean they were.We were left a big bottle of complimentary water and thereafter when needed for the...

This is a B&B - but essentially without the second B: breakfast is served in a miniscule café a hundred metres away where you might or might not be lucky enough to score a seat. The breakfast is a coffee and a piece of cake or a croissant - which is tasty, but repetitive and limited and kind of uncomfortable....

Our best stay during our Italy trip. Reasonably priced and centrally located. It is a tiny place with just 4 rooms. The rooms are furnished with a color and movie theme. We had the Orange and Yellow rooms. Perfectly made up room and spotless bathroom. There is a shared coffee/ tea making facility,a fridge, a computer with Internet and a...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
