Beautiful, clean and well thought out apartment. Fantastic sun terrace too! Superb location in the heart of Trastevere with its pretty cobbled streets, great eateries and bars. The area has a real buzz and vibe to it and it is not too far from the main attractions with the tram and bus nearby. Big thanks to Paolo the lovely manager... More

Sabrina is the perfect host for your stay in Rome. This guest house is nice and clean, in a perfect location to visit Rome and to feel the life like the Romans do... The apartments have also a kitchen if you get tired of the hundreds of restaurants and pizzerias around Trastevere. Plus you can enjoy a beautiful terrace for... More

We had a lovely studio apartment in Via del Mattonato. The location was excellent and the apartment was clean and modern, with pleasant furnishings, and a great little kitchen. The bathroom was also really nice and spacious by European standards. The bed linen was spotless white cotton. Sabrina and Sebastian were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed in a one bedroom apartment in Trastevere. Location was great for exploring the local area but also all the main sights were in walking distance. Apartment had everything we needed but was more of a studio than a one bedroom apartment, it wasn't very big but for two of us for four nights it was fine.

Stayed at the Victoria apartment 14/21st June. Sabrina booked our car transfer from the airport so knew our ETA but no one there to greet us at the apartment, called to say we were standing outside in the baking hot sun and Sabastian arrived on his bike after about 15 minutes. Showed us up to apartment, first glance looks good,... More

We stayed here in June (not sure why my original review did not post) and I have to say we were so happy with the apartment. We booked via Booking.com, but contacted Sabrina direct to query a few things, and she was fantastic! (We also took her recommendation of using a prebooked transfer, and yes, a bit dearer, but worth... More

While in Rome for a wedding in October, we stayed with Sabrina at Cedro 21 for the second time in three years. First, dealing with Sabrina is hassle free. Second, the location is absolutely ideal. Getting there from Fiumincino is easy: take a train to the Trastevere stop and then hop on the tram right outside the station and head... More

Stayed here for 3 nights with 2 children and it was very charming and practical at the same time. I found it very clean and definately had a womans touch with the decor. Sabrina was very nice, and cheerful and very welcoming. Was very quiet at the Victoria Suite, even tho its in the centre of the busiest tourist area.... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
