Hotel is ideally located and walking distance to everywhere! Best hotel we have stayed in by far in Rome and would definitely rebook. Rooms are cool, light and well equipped. Very secure space and very comfortable. Was my husbands birthday and mini-moon ( we got married in April) and the team made it really special. Would really recommend!

Location is very nice. Near restaurants and shops. And very near the plaza with the Spanish steps. Paolo was very accommodating and nice. Clean, big room and with a/c. Big bed for one person. The toilet and bath are very spacious! Overall you will get a good nights sleep!

Ultimately I gave a score of excellent based on the combination of excellent hosting by Paolo, incredible location by the Spanish steps surrounded by restaurants and stores with nice, clean and tasteful accommodations for a very fair price considering all the above.

We loved the location of Town House Spagna; the best location for a tourist in Rome, near the Spanish Steps and right in the centre of the best shopping and restaurant area in Rome. The host was very helpful upon check-in; helping us with our bags to the first floor and giving us multiple recommendations for a variety of good... More

Travelled with friends and we had to double rooms next to eachother, we could quite easely hear oneanother through the walls. But there was no outside noice, very quiet and we woke up to birds signing in the back yard. The guest house is very well located a short walk to many of the attractions. The standard is OK and... We have just come home from a long weekend in Rome and stayed at this beautiful boutique style hotel. Paolo was there to greet us and explain the area and the best places to eat near by. The rooms are clean and lovely. The location couldn't really have been any better. If there was a downside well, it was that... More

Rome at night on New Year's Eve has a magic atmosphere. The streets are illuminated with the Christmas light and the festive feel gives a sort of tranquil mood. Despite this year, concerts in the streets of the capital were not allowed, supposedly for the fear of terroristic attacks, there were lots of people in the streets and many heading towards... More

The hotel is small with only 6 rooms. It is perfectly located within walking distance to all the major sites. The room is comfortable and the service very friendly. As a delicate attention, a pot of flowers is placed in the room when you arrive. The breakfast is basic and could be better.

The hotel is small and above shops, but in a quiet although central location near to the Spanish Steps. The rooms are stylish and have a beautiful bathroom and Paulo is very helpful with directions and suggestions - he even gave us a street map to help us find our way around. The only downside for some people would be... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina.
