This place is in a good location next to some embassies and about 10-15 walk from Termini station. Be aware that this is NOT a hotel, but an apartment that was converted into rooms. The people working there were nice and helpful, and the prices were good. But if you plan on spending more time inside than just sleeping I... More

This establishment was quite good. Really more of a B&B (no real lobby/24 hour front desk, etc) but fantastic given the price. It's in a great location, about a 15-20 min walk to the main Termini station, 1.5-2 miles to most of the big historical sites in Rome (except the Vatican), in a safe neighborhood, and just around the corner... After a short 10 minute stroll from Termini we arrived at the Morrisson, which is located on the 4th floor of a charming building of the quiet Via Palestro, and the staff immediately greeted us as VIPs. They went through the usual hotel stuff (including a practice run of the impressive front door) and then showed us on a map... More

If you are looking for value for money and a great place to stay for a couple of nights then stay here. Located opposite the British Embassy it is obviously a safe place to be. Although be warned when we were there the Army was out on all street corners. The Hotel is made up of 10 rooms maximum and... More

Most of the building in the city center of Rome we realize are very old and historical, that's the reason because when we reach The Morrisson we were not sure of our choice. But the exactly moment we walk in it has been totally another history. Modern, minimalist, functional with all a visitor could ever desire in his room. Managed... More

Astonishing place in the city of Rome. Our first time in Italy and we couldn't be more lucky. A very professional stuff gave us good advise and information and we felt very safe and spoiled. The room was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The best icecream in town right around the corner.

Rome is a kind of mess and dirty but beautiful. We realize immediately we made the right choice with Morrisson. Professional and useful stuff right from the check-in. Room well decorated and clean. Kettle with coffe and tea plus croissant every day.

Very cozy almost plush place. Clean and modern with everything you need in the room. Stuff very helpful and competent. We had all the information and advices since the check-in which made our staying in Rome perfect. Breakfast is served in a local bar outside the bulding (which is old and probably historical), italian essential with very fresh and good... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
