The apartment is located couple of minutes from the Colosseum, Cavour station and other main attractions It was fully equipped and ready to go and we even got a bottle of wine and espresso capsules as a bonus :) There's an elevator so you won't need to carry your bags up many stairs.. Paola the owner is extremely helpful and...

It's just 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum with plenty of restaurants around the area, metro stations either Colosseum one or Cavour are near enough but we found with so many sites to see in between each main attraction walking was the best option and nothing is too far and that includes the Vatican if you are happy to meander...

The apartment was in a great location within walking distance of the Colosseum, Cavour station, Termini station. Paolo the owner, extremely helpful! We had advice on travel and the main attractions. Free wifi with a laptop for browsing. The kitchen was small but had everything we want: Tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter and water plus spaghetti and sauce. I would...

We arrived to the apartment late following public transport difficulties, Paola was kind enough to wait and greeted us warmly! Paola showed us round the apartment and then helped us identify key landmarks on the map and required bus routes! The map was really helpful and much better than our guide book! Our first impressions of the apartment were good....

This apartment is small, but has all of the necessities and a few extra's like a washing machine. The owner was very gracious and even apologetic because it rained while we were in Rome. However, the very best thing about this place is it's location. Three doors to the right and you are in the middle of the Forum. Go...

Not only did Rome exceed all expectations but this apartment is perfect! On arrival we were greeted by paolo the owner, extremely helpful! We had advice on...

Paola was a lovely and helpful host. We were several hours late due to the Italian trains and Paola waited at the apartment to meet us. The kitchen was small but contained everything we needed; Paola left some pasta and sauce for us to use as well. The apartment was in a great location, in a trendy and non-touristy area...

Four of us stayed in this apartment, which is what made it a good deal. The apartment has one bed and one pull-out couch, and it’s definitely cheaper than two hotel rooms in this part of Rome. Of course, it’s a pretty small apartment, so you’ll be sharing limited space with another couple (or that was the case for us)....

I stayed in this apartment for 42 days over December and January. It was very good value for Rome prices… comfortable and Paola was extremely friendly and helpful. It is also in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance of the Colosseum, Cavour station, Termini station, the opera theatre and many other parts of Rome.

The apartment is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. It is clean and very well equipped. We were able to cook a couple of meals in the nice kitchen, and the wine bars down the street were charming. Paola could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic for people who are interested in Rome's historical sights: the Forum,...

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
