This is a very small boutique hotel with only 6 rooms. There is a small room for breakfast where you get to meet all the guests. Lots of nice people! Breakfast was a good continental assortment but they will make you eggs and bacon if you ask. The location is a stones throw to Plaza Navona and so centrally located....

We had a wonderful stay in Rome at the Gigli d'Oro Suites. The hotel is steps from the Piazza Navona but is remarkably quiet. Max and Sylvia were both incredibly helpful and we felt well taken care of. Suggestions for restaurants proved outstanding. We had two rooms and there was a problem with one of the reservations where a third...

An excellently situated hotel, calm enough for Roma center (never expect it to be quiet!), beautifully decorated and very tidy. Excellent bed and fantastic shower. Great to have an internet connected laptop in your room! Some minuses: no real evening receptionist, you feel a bit left to your own during evening and early morning. Especially when you find out that...

Begin by saying we stayed 5 nights, 6 days in total. Positive things: fabulous location, excellent bed, even nicer funky shower, nice-looking hotel/room. First impression, big wow effect, but.... Prize: absurdly high for the service and quality given, even for Rome and with that center location. Things you would not except for such an expensive hotel: -Despite the many phones,...

Dear Guest, We remain amazed and surprised by your comment, because it is also one of the few negative comments where almost all of our guests were very satisfied of their experience at Gigli d'Oro Suite. We would like, however, to clarify certain aspects of the criticisms that you've done. We do not think it's not correct to say that...

While small- it's beautifully formed where you get a great deal of individual attention- I travelled to Rome for 5 days with a friend and my teenage daughter. The staff made us feel very welcome and catered for all our needs- booking restaurants, giving directions, printing boarding passes, storing luggage when we arrived early and left late. They offered advice...

Small and very cute hotel. Thoughtful, minimal design, nearly brand new fixtures, open alcohol –– from Presecco to Baileys and all primary hard liquors for you coffee or juice, and snack bar all day long. I personally exhausted their dried figs (plain, candied, filled with walnuts, covered in sprinkles) and dates supply in the first two of my three day...

Once you find this gem of a property, you will feel as if you have discovered some ancient treasure in Rome. The decor is very well done. The ancient ceilings restored with exacting detail. The location is very central, and the service is top shelf. Unless you know Rome really well, it is a challenge to find. And, it is...

My husband, 16 year old daughter and I had a memorable 5 night stay at the Gigli d'Oro Suite. It is small, boutique hotel conveniently located just steps away from Piazza Navona, delicious neighbourhood trattorias and boutique shops. The staff is extremely hospitable, knowledgeable and accommodating. The intimate breakfast room is a relaxing place to start the day. It doubles...
