I couldn't ask for a better location - up the street from the Pantheon and near Piazza Navona. The hotel has superior modernization with a large, tastefully furnished room and modern bathroom with counter and storage space. For an atmospheric hotel, the room was one of the most comfortable I've stayed in Rome. As part of the hotel package, the... More

Small, charming hotel in the best part of Rome. Walking distance to all the major attractions and just a minute up the road from Pantheon. The rooms are nicely decorated, breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. I have stayed several places in Rome, but this is my favorite. Looking forward to my third stay next March already!

I cannot say enough nice things about the Relais Maddalena. The location is excellent about one block from the Pantheon, on a square and just a good walk away from the old Roman Forum and all the other attractions that Rome has to offer. The hotel consists of only 10 rooms which are beautifully decorated with an exposed beam ceiling... More

We went for a romantic trip to Rome, and this was a very nice place to stay. Beautifully decorated, quiet and private. Its very centrally located and all main attractions are within walking distance. The price is maybe above average, but the value is good.

My husband & I stayed at Relais Maddalena October 19-22 as part of our anniversary trip. You could not ask for a better location!! This B&B was one square over from the Pantheon, you could actually see it while out on the terrace eating breakfast. We arrived on a Saturday so that night was a bit noisy but the rest... More

We have been to Rome many times and have always stayed in hotels. This time we wanted something different and special, since we were also traveling with a family member who was celebrating their 70th birthday. We did extensive research on accommodations in Rome trying to find the perfect place. Well our research paid off and we found Francesco's fabulous... More

Our room was modern, clean and adequately furnished with upscale style fixtures in the bathroom. We stayed here in September for two nights. Perhaps we are a little naive, but we had a difficult time finding the hotel entrance in this piazza. There really isn't an obvious sign and the doors to the building are unmarked. We asked around at... More

Everything about this boutique hotel was perfect - from the initial contact made via email with Francesco regarding arranging airport transport to checkout. Francesco was very prompt replying to my many emails for which I was most greatful for. Was very nice to meet him - he is a true gentleman. The room was gorgeous - perfectly clean and very... More

This B&B is so perfect. I had a great view every morning, while having my cappuccino, in front of the beautiful church in the piazza. It is definitely my new favorite place in Rome. My room was stylishly furnished and impeccably clean. Pros: The managers were so gracious and their recommendations were perfect. I can't recommend enough how in the... More

Coming from the airport, our driver had a little trouble locating Piazza Maddelena. It is small, and there are many piazzas here. Once we saw it, the door to the hotel was under the sign for the Piazza. Not obvious, but we range the bell and Francesco actually came up behind us! Not sure if he was waiting for us,... More
