The experience was great from beginning till the end. The location is great, the welcome was fantastic, as this is small hostel so the owners do not treat you as another number, their English was good, so there weren't any problems with communication, the breakfast was big and on time delivered to your room. Room was big, clean, comfy and... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
