Stayed for a Friday to Sunday visit to Rome with family. The hotel is a three minutes walk from the Termini station, so it is a great location for airport train, city buses and metro. Nearby are a lot of good value restaurants. 200 metres away is the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore - which was stunning inside. Rooms are... More

This is a very good value for money place to stay in an expensive city like Rome. Located near railway station (within walking distance). Room is clean and tidy, have everything you need. We spent the whole day outside and just need the room for shower and sleep. The bedsheets are clean with extra pillows. Good selection of TV channels... More

In an expensive city like Rome, we consider this hotel as a great budget choice for the following reasons: 1).Location ideal, less than 300 m from Termini railway station.Lively area but quiet in the evening as trams stop and restaurants close. It is a pedestrian street, only some trams pass by. Lots of eating options in front of hotel and around,... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Attractively modernised premises. Well presented and clean, with daily change of towels. Quiet room at rear of pensione. The ensuite facility is adequate but the door is a folding screen. Breakfast is simple and delivered to your room. WiFi is free but limited during out stay. To enter the pensione you will need to use the... More

We stayed for one night after arriving in Rome by train late in the evening. We didn't find it easily but a friendly waiter pointed it out to us. Although it was a slightly strange set up, being only one floor of an apartment building, the lobby area was very clean. The man on reception was friendly and helpful, although... More

The rooms were tidy, and the location is great, however it was a bit difficult to find the hotel in the first place. Beware of the metro passing close by, that can wake you up during the night. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, searching for us for some information about visiting places in Rome.

Ahhhhh, nothing like the customary unpleasant Roman customer service. How disgraceful is it? Most touristic places you go in Rome, you are welcomed by their traditional terrible service. Nevertheless, Pensione Millerose is fine. Clean room, ok toilet, strange shampoo/soap in a small bag, but good location (the area is terrible, but very handy) and good value for money. The staff,... Very nice hotel to stay one-two days in Rome. Close to Roma Termini station. Cozy and clean rooms. Benevolent owners. Amazing view, but could be noizy because of trams. Santa Maria Maggiore is located in one minute walking.

This pensione is well situated, 10 minutes walk from termini station. Police station is round the corner, so it´a good for better feeling. The pensione is in the sixth floor and lift is available. The room and bathroom were simply, but everything was cleaned and staff was friendly a smiling. One negative thing, the room si absolutely NO soundproof !... More

We had great time at Millerose. (except of the problem with the toilet, But the staff was very helpful to solve it.) We arrived late in the night to Termini Station. The Hotel is 5 minute walk from there and it is easy to find. The rooms are located on the 6th floor of a house. When you want to... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
