Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent (but you have to go to the reception, which is in another building). If you are staying in Rome for only a few days, this b&b is in an excellent location, near most tourist attractions.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Little Queen for 5 nights to celebrate his birthday. I'd read in previous reviews about the big green door and no other sign posts for the hotel, but managed to find it fine. The decoration in the room was lovely, especially the ceiling, quite spacious and had everything you needed (iron was available... More

Right from our very first contact Sara and Vittorio did their very best to make my parents- in-law stay perfect. Excellent communication before the trip and extremely helpful including arranging a taxi service to and from the airport at a reasonable price. The location is amazing, it really is a palace in the historical centre! Rooms are to die for... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Little Queen Suites. The hotel is centrally located by Largo Argentina, which means it was a quick walk to ancient sites like the Roman Forum and Colosseum, as well as close to restaurants and shops across the Tiber in Trastevere. We stayed in room #5, which had beautiful, high ceilings with frescoes on them.... More

What a fantastic place to stay. Accommodation was lovely, with all amenities provided, the staff were very helpful and accommodating, the location was superb with all tourist attractions in walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful, and with the added extra of the terrace area. My only tip would be before arriving check you know the whereabouts of Suite Little Queen as... More

Terrific hotel. Great staff was friendly and professional and really went out of their way to make our trip as smooth as possible. Especially Sara who was in contact with us before and throughout our trip. Room was clean and very nicely furnished. Location is terrific. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay while in Rome at this B&B. The room we had was very large, much larger than what we were expecting and it over looked a great archeological site, Largo di Torre Argentina. There was a great selection at breakfast which was provided everyday and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The centralized location of Little... More

Placed in the heart of the city close to the Jewish Getto it has a cosy atmosphere and puts you in the Rome mood. I loved the painted ceiling and the traces where I took the breakfast every morning. Like everything in Rome it is hidden but the moment you discover it is like opening the treasure chest.

Very nice place. We stayed in No1 and had the view right onto the archaeological site across the road . The room is newly refurbished and spacious enough fro 2 with luggage. Bathroom was functional too and all recently refurbished. The owners were very helpful and arranged for us to arrive at midnight (left the keys , etc). Breakfast was... More

Recently visited the little queen and was very impressed. On arrival, we were given the choice of two rooms and we chose the one that opened straight onto the terrace area. Bed was AMAZING and pillows too. Shower and bathroom was very modern with everything you could need. Safe, hairdryer, mini bar provided. Didn't get on a bus the whole... More

Staying in Ghetto

Neighborhood Profile
Ghetto
The mini-neigborhood Ghetto holds tight to its reputation as a stand-alone area thanks to its nearly 300-year history as the home to Rome’s Jewish community. Times changed in the 20th century, but the tiny area still retains its mix of tradition, community, and history. Ancient and medieval architectural design frames apartments, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Friends and families are the pulse of the neighborhood, keeping company on the Via del Portico d’Ottavia. The Ghetto observes the traditional Jewish Shabbat: businesses close from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.
