What a phenomenal hotel to stay in for a visit to Rome for the weekend. Prime location with walking distance to everything, including the CitySightseeing Bus stops. Right next to the opera house, so we got to see some really beautiful ball gowns for the elites attending the opera. The staff at this hotel were unbelievably friendly and spoke phenomenal...

If we could we would give this hotel 7 stars and reduce it down to 5 because of just two things that make it not quite perfection. But it is the best. Superbly located in a quiet area a five minute walk from the hop on hop off bus. Reception is excellent and is indicative of what makes this hotel...

Can't fault this hotel, we very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great and was a stones throw away from many shops and restaurants, and also from the Termini station. We didn't need to use the underground at all during our stay. You can walk to all the main sights, Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc. The bar at this...

A fantastico location for an hotel. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Cleanliness is excellent and I mean spotless! We had the breakfast every morning during our stay, which was excellent. There's no doubt that we'll be going back to this hotel on a revisit to Roma.

Just returned from a 3 night city break stay at this hotel and have to say we really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Room was perfect for our requirements, very clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Perfectly situated for most attractions in Rome and we walked to most apart from the Vatican where we travelled by Metro....

We had a hotel in rome that was pretty gross. So, in a panic at the last minute I found this one. It was great. It was clean, the staff was nice, and it was a 10 minute walk to the coliseum and the heart of Rome. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. For the money it was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
