I stayed here twice in the past month. Once the smallest room, which was already large, comfortable, and with a great bathroom and shower. Second time, I was upgraded to the largest suite with a sitting room and a balcony, which was amazing, This not a place for those who need room service or evening turn-down service, but it is wonderful place for those who want a luxury at a reasonable price without the extras. Spacious, quiet, and lean rooms, friendly staff. I will stay again.

I reserved this hotel directly through their website on an anniversary trip with my wife. When we arrived we could not have been more pleased. They gave us a free upgrade. This was on our final leg of the trip after visiting Rome once and some other cities.

We stayed at the Babuino for 3 nights and enjoyed every second. The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the Spanish steps and Villa Borghese. The rooms are big and very clean and the staff are very nice and kind people, especially Valerio from the Bar on the 4th floor who offered us an amazing fresh and complementary coffee every morning. We will surely return to the hotel in our next visit to Rome and we recommend everyone to stay there.

This Small boutique hotel had nice rooms and was in a good location near the Spanish steps and the piazza de poppolo . However, There’s really no ambience to the hotel as there is no lobby and the rooftop Breakfast/bar area has limited hours. Basically it is open for breakfast and then in the evening the bar is opened. The staff was pleasant but not really helpful . It was my first time staying at this hotel for a family gathering thst opted for this location of Rome. Normally I stay at another hotel which I will probably go back to. However if you want this location the rooms were large and comfortable. just skip any questions to the staff.

Dear emcat1, Thank you for your review of Babuino 181. As we pride ourselves in our attentive guest services, we’re sorry our team did not perform to our normal high level of service. We have shared this feedback with our team and discussed how they could have been more responsive to our guests’ needs. For more of a lobby feel, may we recommend our 5-star hotel at Margutta 19 as the services would be more to your liking. Best regards, The Management Team
