A great place to stay with all the necessary amenities required to the person who wants the good rest after a hard days run in this busy city. The rooms fine and more than expected and in particular the easy access to the best places of interest plays a great role. Love the area so much, recommend the hotel with... More

Came here as a surprise birthday trip and it was perfect. The suite we stayed in had everything you could possibly need. We were able to leave our luggage when we arrived early and use the facilities to freshen up. Location was perfect to explore the main sites of Rome. Would love to return some time.

Ideally located, friendly warm service, beautiful rooms with comfortable bed and great shower. We were upgraded on arrival - an unexpectedly lovely start to our stay. Our room also had a balcony. The Roman Notebook given to us at check-in (prepared by the owner) was filled with recommendations by a Roman of sights to see, bars, restaurants and gelato -... More

Beautifully appointed and located at the center of the chicest shopping area, very close to the Spanish Steps, the Villa Borghese and the Piazza del Poppolo. Personalized and warm service. Amazing amenities. Free high-speed WIFI all over the property and plenty of free bottled water, coffee and tea 24/7. Only drawback, can be a little noisy at nights from the... More

We only chose this hotel because we got a great deal for it and the truth is at that time we didn't even know how great it was! It's location is simply awesome. There are numerous tourist attractions nearby, such as the Spanish steps, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Piazza del Popollo. Another plus is that the metro station is... More

Been over 4 years since my last trip to Roma and had to stay again at Babuino 181 due to the great location, beautiful rooms and outstanding staff! Hotel offers airport transportation for € 60 which was outstanding. A very relaxing stay and did not disappoint!

This boutique hotel is well worth the extra money because it was very well managed, friendly staff, very clean, lovely spacious bed, room and bathroom. We slept exceptionally well as the bed and pillows were very comfy. The breakfast was wide-ranging including some really nice fruit and pastries. The hotel is in a great location near the Spanish steps, Piazza... More

We were happy with our stay at Babuino 181, and the room was very comfortable. In many ways, the place has five star qualities, if you can accept a lower service level. Breakfast surprisingly good. Location is central for wandering the city. If staying at the annex, ask for a room above first floor, as daylight is limited in room... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
