We had a large, very modern family room on the 4th floor. Spotlessly clean, serviced every day, fridge, kettle with tea/coffee/milk. Perfect location with metro & buses on your doorstep. Staff all great and really helpful with loads of information about transport, food & drink. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that! I would definitely recommend these apartments... More

Our room on the 6th floor had a spectacular view of the Vatican. Danielle and Simone were awesome owners of this fine B&B. They were full of excitement, information and had all the “what to do and see” knowledge, and made breakfast for us in the morning. They really helped us out before we got there with quick replies to... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights, pre cruise, at a View of Rome. From the first email I sent to them to our departure, service was 2nd to none. Daniele greeted us warmly as we got off the lift. We arrived at the B&B at 9:00. Daniele and crew arranged for a car to pick us up at the... More

Just to establish some background info, we stay in a wide-range of accommodations from Intercontinental, Park Hyatt, Radisson Blu to B&B and boutique hotels. I don't expect a B&B to have the same level of pampering and luxury as a high-end hotel. The 5-star rating is based on my expectation of a B&B. I view B&Bs as my temporary quaint... More

I can't say enough how perfect the location of this B&B is. You can walk to the Vatican in 5 minutes. If that isn't reason enough, the room is extremely comfortable and the breakfast and prepared for us daily was such a treat !! I would love to be able to give them more than 5 starts- they have earned... More

We have stayed at A View of Rome twice in 4 years it is like coming home and family welcome you. First you must book as early as possible like 6 to 12 months out and still then you may not get a room Livio and his crew are fantastic he can arrange to have you picked up at the... More

This B&B was the best one I stayed at in Rome. The room was very spacious and clean. The location could not be any better. With the Vatican across the street amazing View.... Plus the owner took his time to explain how to get places in Rome. Was very helpful with my stay. I would stay again but for more... More

The service was exceptional - with recommendations of what sights to visit, where to eat and friendly conversation at breakfast. We rented the family room which was large, modern and quiet. Great for sleeping. Good location, close to the Vatican and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again !

For my 60th birthday I spent 5 nights in Rome. This city is everything you expect it to be and more, fantastic sights, marvellous food and wonderful friendly people. Traveling to and from the airport couldn't be easier on the dedicated train service and once there a surprisingly cheap travel pass allows unlimited access to the metro and buses to... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
