A delightful bed-and- breakfast. We were so happy and satisfied here. The room was nice and adequate- pleasant and accommodating. The simple but sufficient kosher breakfast was such a welcome treat, essential for ensuring an energetic start to our busy tourist days. Avraham, our host, was super helpful- pleasant, thorough, considerate, helpful and accommodating, all the while volunteering a wealth...

Stayed for 3 nights. Very nice apartment, good kosher breakfast, extremely caring and helpful owner: he provided me with maps that have all sightseeings and kosher locations marked, and was always ready to answer any questions about Rome. He also reminded all the tenants every morning to make sandwiches and carry them in the bag - just in case. Apartments...

Our visit to Rome was wonderful, made perfect by the family atmosphere we felt at La Casa di Eva. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and appreciated the care and helpful advice extended to us. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and we were encouraged to make sandwiches for our day's touring. They gave us good maps and...

People were wonderful, breakfast great and location close to the metro and to kosher restaurants and synagogues. If you plan to visit Roma, this is a great place to stay. We will certainly come again.

We have just spent 8 days staying at Casa Di Eva and cannot speak highly enough about it. Not only was the accommodation very adequate, but the hospitality we received from the owners was beyond their call of duty. They constantly gave us advice on how best to navigate Rome and were always looking out for us as if we...

We spent two separate weekends with our hosts and had a great time. The facilities are well maintained and staff more than helpful. We arranged to have kosher meals sent in from a local caterer and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We also prearranged airport pickups for our entire group through our hosts so there were no last minute surprises.

We stayed in Home in Rome in early July. It was a wonderful stay! Clean, beautiful rooms, great breakfast and very comfortable atmosphere! The Shabbat accommodations were great. We met other guests and felt very welcomed in Avraham's shul. The kids had a blast and one of my boys still talks about visiting Jade for Chanukah (Jade beware, lol))). Can't...

The hospitality we received at La Casa di Eva is unlike anywhere I've been. As soon as we arrived the owner gave us a map showing all of the kosher restaurants, minimarkets, bakery and synagogues in the area (5-8 minute walk). He set out a nice breakfast each morning. There was coffee, tea, and cold drinks available 24 hrs. Even...

We can't complement this place enough. The rooms were comfortable and immaculate. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The neighborhood is safe and not in a touristy area. The most important aspect of this place is the family that runs it. They gave us a complete orientation to our stay in Rome and were better than any first class tour...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
