Be warned that this 'hotel' is in reality a nightclub with all the inherent problems nightclubs have both legal and non-legal Thur - Sat every week (and a very very very loud one at that from 8 till 2/3 in the morning, walking back from the restaurants in Trastevere you could hear it a long long way off. The club is on the roof terrace, directly above the rooms so the room shakes with people dancing and jumping, doors constantly banging in some rooms seemingly rented just for one night, I'm assuming for a particular club night, make of that what you will. Wed was ok, then Thur around 6.30 they started testing the PA - venues in England for weddings even bands (believe me I know) would have tripped the DB meter and been shut down before they even turned it up. The 'club' was a complete surprise to us. I went to see the (very rude) manager who told me when you checked in, the signed check in form stated the events happening this week... I explained it wasn't, show me please, he then embarrisingly scabbled round for 5-10 minutes searching for a piece of paper only to find nothing written on the actual form, he then shifted saying you were told this morning at breakfast to which we were not, whereby he phoned the lady who managed breakfast only for her to advise they forgot to tell us. The 'manager' had to concede we were not advised at check in or breakfast, I offered to pay for the Wed night we'd already stayed, check out and find another hotel (this was around 7.30pm and no idea where but desparate as it was that bad). His response was you've paid already in advance so you can't, so we felt trapped. Thursday night was awful, really loud bad music, shouting DJ of the old fashioned kind, shaking room from people dancing, banging doors constantly to one of the bedrooms! On Friday when we were all at breakfast, another couple made the same complaint, it transpires this happens all the time with the poor ladies at breakfast (who were lovely taking the brunt of complaints). The owner/manager is not looking for repeat custom, just running a venue and perporting to be a quaint hotel for unlucky victims The pictures on here do not reflect how the rooms actually look (completely different decoration and tiny), not very clean (see pic) and the bathroom smelt of the sewer and you would not dare walk on the floor without shoes. If you want to party, sure this could be for you but it is full on partying venue if you get my drift with all that entails... you'll hear people still knocking around at 4-5 in the morning. Do... Look at staying in Trastrevere as it's cool but not here Don't... Stay herwhatever you do you will regret it If... you do mistake booking this (just don't i promise), don't leave your keys at Reception, no one manages it, people come and go to the club all the time and could just help themselves to your room key on the way up to the club if they wanted to rob you. Don't... Take it out on the ladies at breakfast, the 'manager' throws them under the bus every morning to handle complaints when in reality he's party host late night and not seen till afternoon. Transparency: The 'Manager' tried to placate my wife and I by firstly verbly offering me 'drinks' all night on him in the club to keep quiet, then leaving a note in our room of free drinks... we refused to take this up. My first complant on a hotel in many years of traveling so please avoid Mark

My family and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in Winter, and overall, the stay felt super cozy and homey. Located on a quiet, peaceful street only minutes away from the busier streets of Trastevere, the rooms were a good size, there was a bathtub in the bathroom and the place is charming and cosy. Gabriel was incredibly helpful every step of the way, from giving us tips to arranging a wonderful breakfast (fresh juice, pancakes, omelette etc.). Things to bear in mind: leading up to the hotel there is a steeper incline (if you have any mobility issues) and there is no reception available at night (which I didn't mind at all, I had all the service I needed at the hotel) Thank you Parrasio! We really felt like home there, can't wait to come back :)

This was an excellent hotel. A short walk to the heart of Trastevere. The staff is very helpful and polite. The restaurant is a great place to unwind at the end of the day and the food was great. I will definitely stay here if I ever make it back to Rome.

Security is a big issue as reception is not open 24hrs. My personal belonging (worth 1700 euros) was stolen from the room while I was out. It is likely that it was taken by someone who had a spare key to my room as the door was not damaged. When I asked to call the police, the reception refused and said that I can only report it at the police station, which was a complete lie because the police told me that I really should have called them at the scene to come investigate. I was completely mislead by the staff who did not sympathise for my situation at all. The hotel also refused to refund my remaining night after I said that I could not stay there any longer as I feared for my safety. It’s very disappointing. Low understanding and concept of service and hospitality. Rome has a bad reputation for theft and crime, and I certainly experienced it at this hotel.

A nice little boutique hotel, a little way out from the Vatican area. The hotel is small and got to purpose, a small breakfast room downstairs and a roof terrace bar. Our room was gorgeous we opted for a superior suite which gave us abit more room, super efficient aircon always made our room a cool and quiet retreat. A comfortable bathroom with a deep bath, waterfall shower and a separate shower head, A bidet, towel rail and ample storage. A small utility area with a mini bar , stove, sink and mini safe. Big flat screen in the wall. Shutters in the windows for an incredible nights sleep paired with the super comfortable super king sized bed. All in all the hotel was exactly what we needed to see the incredible city of rome. The receptionist Nadia was very friendly and helpful mmfrom start to finish. On our last day it was incredibly hot and she offered us our room again to freshen up before our journey home. Only downsides: Like many locations it's at the top of a steep hill something worth bearing in mind if you travel with elderly or young families. The roof terrace can be quite noisy into the night, it didnt affect our sleep at all however for younger families it may cause disturbance.

Horrible service, Came into the hotel was put in the wrong room (standard), today we have been moved to a superior room that we booked but still the bath is missing (that I had especially booked for), we understand that the breakfast is free of charge because it is horrible, do not book this hotel it ruins your trip to rome! And now they are debating a discount whilst we slept in the wrong room last night and are now again not in the room we have booked for.

I don't really know where to start as I'm not quite sure what I'm reviewing. Recent Trip Advisor reviews are scathing, and I'm not surprised as this establishment is not a hotel, bed & breakfast, night club or home-stay, so ends up being a poor represention of each. It's not a hotel. There is no 24 hour reception or staff on call. This is peculiarly unnerving for guests. It's not a B&B....the breakfast just isn't good enough, nor is it served with homely charm. It's not a night club....although it desperately seeks this status through its nightly pumpin' beats that serve only to disrupt the sleep of its residents. Is it a home-stay? Well, interestingly, you almost feel that you're interrupting some of the staffs' private lives if you ask for anything outside of 'reception' hours. The exception being Nadia, who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This seems to be a vanity project run for the owners rather than customers and is probably doomed for that reason. On a positive note the beds are comfortable, the rooms nicely decorated and the location, perfect. And we didn't let the negatives detract from a lovely stay in Rome. However, I cannot recommend staying at this establishment - certainly not from May to October when the ill-conceived terrace club busts into life. Very sad for the local, previously tranquil area.

This hotel is not a real one. It looks really nice a the beginning but after one night you understand that everything goes wrong. The reception is open from 9am to 4pm There is problem with hot water There is construction work for the bar on the rooftop just upstairs and a restaurant downstairs. You hear everything from other rooms but more than that from the bar upstairs which is open from 7pm to 2am... so I you want sleep you can forget it. The breakfast is a joke, the is no fresh bread, few pastries, no fruits, juices from bad supermarket. The bedroom was really expensive. The owner doesn't care about people, she decided to have an hotel in a quiet area and open a bar on the roof. She just can't have both.

I wish I'd read the reviews before booking. The negative reviews are not unfounded. Our experience: No one at reception and no support Breakfast poor and starts very late which meant in 4 days we only managed to have breakfast once Terrace has a public bar and we had a party one night and got no sleep until 4am! No hot water for 1 shower Soap no restocked Mosquito ridden and we got bitten really badly. Pity because the location was really good.

In a night club, paper thin walls, no reception, no hot water and unbearable. I am an easy going traveller and when I read the reviews I thoughts it was a joke. No. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in my my life. You may as we'll hire a locker in the train station. This is a hotel on the outskirts of nowhere who hire the breakfast room out to local events companies / students. OMG!!! This place would be banned from being sheltered accommodation in the UK! Save your money and buy a 6 man tent and sleep behind a wheelie bin
